Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has congratulated the people of the state on Hindi Diwas. In his message on the eve of Hindi Diwas, Chief Minister said that Hindi is the language of our honour, self respect and pride. Hindi has provided a new identity to India in the world. Acceptability of Hindi has increased globally. Today, Hindi is the second largest contact language in the world, reaching crores of people. In many countries of the world, where Hindi is spoken and understood, research, study and teaching on Hindi is on in over 150 universities of the world.
Chief Minister has appealed to the youth not to lessen their attachment for the protection and expansion of mother language Hindi. Mother language is helpful in connecting you with your culture. He also underlined the need for consolidated efforts for the development and respect of Hindi language.
