Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Deepawali, Goverdhan Puja and Bhai Dooj. In his message, Chief Minister said that this festival of light removes the darkness to bring light in the life of everyone.
Deepawali symbolizes the victory of good over evil, brightness over darkness and peace. Deepawali is the main festival of worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Annapurna as well as social harmony.
Chief Minister has called upon the people of the state to celebrate eco-friendly Deepawali keeping in mind the environmental protection. “We all must ensure that there should be no harm to anyone on the occasion of Deepawali and celebrate the festival with social harmony. Let us all take a pledge to celebrate Deepawali in a clean and pollution free manner”, said Chief Minister.
In his message, Chief Minister said that Goverdhan Puja is a symbol of preserving the economic and cultural resources of the society and the nation. This festival also reminds everyone of Lord Krishna’s great character.
Chief Minister congratulated and extended his best wishes to the people of the state, especially women, on the holy festive occasion of Bhai Dooj. Along with the bond of love between brother and sister, the festival also underlines the respect for mother power, their importance in family and society.
