Panchayati Rule And Gender Awareness Training Institute–PRAGATI concluded the two weeks Computer Training Programme that started from 19th November 19, 2018 with the support of Planet Urgence, on Saturday.
Data Engineer, Quentin Febvre from France very professionally taught the participants including the staff, interns, volunteers, beneficiaries How to create a database in Ms Access, How to create a database into Access from an Excel File, database Language: SQL, how to make nice User interface using Forms.
Rekha Pundir, Secretary, PRAGATI says there is always a need for proper storing information for reference, reporting and analysis and overcoming the limitations found when trying to manage large amounts of information in Excel or other spreadsheet applications. MS Access program provides several distinct advantages, particularly when it comes to managing growth and organization.
Now it is going to provide a much more robust way for us to track data and projects than Excel or Word.
Data Engineer, Quentin Febvre too shared his experience saying that “we were able to use real data from Pragati surveys; I taught more than what I initially anticipated. Giving this training session has been a very fulfilling experience to me; I am convinced that I was able to provide new tools and skills to the PRAGATI team”
Participant Hansujja shared her experience saying that in the database training not only did they learnt about using Microsoft Access, but also learned SQL, which can be used in other databases as well.
The trainer cleared all our doubts patiently. All in all, it was a fun learning experience which will be helpful for the trainees in future.
On the last day of this training Certificates of successful completion of the training were given to the participants.
