Haryana has acquired a distinct identity on national and international canvass: Haryana Chief Secretary

Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal directed the officers that preparations  should be made in such a planned manner that Haryana can make a mark  at all trade fairs as it has gained identity in International Trade Fair of India, International Gita Mahotsav and Surajkund Fair across the world.Sh. Kaushal said that efforts should be made to organize trade fairs in the districts as envisioned Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal. First such trade fairs should be organized in Gurugram and Faridabad districts.The Chief Secretary was presiding over the 32nd Governing Body meeting of the Trade Fair Authority of Haryana convened here today to review the preparations for the International Trade Fair of India to be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from November 14.The meeting also approved the proposal for a budget of Rs. 2.79 crore for the financial year 2022-23. It was informed in the meeting that the theme of upcoming ‘Indian International Trade Fair-2022′ will be ‘Vocal for Local, Local to Global’. India International Trade Fair to begin from November 14 to November 27, 2022Sh. Kaushal directed that the pavilion of Haryana should be made more attractive and creative in the International Trade Fair of India which is going to begin from November 14. The fair should be planned in a time bound manner in collaboration with various departments. Haryana Day will be celebrated on November 20.The Chief Secretary directed the officers of the Authority to enhance their efforts, prepare a calendar of activities and participate in International Fairs with complete planning and preparation by coordinating with the Industry Department as per the requirement of the market. This will not only boost the export of the state’s products but will also give maximum incentive to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Haryana. He also gave directions to explore the possibilities of organizing other fairs in the state.Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that Haryana has made remarkable achievements in various fields. These achievements should be displayed at the Haryana Pavilion in the International Trade Fair of India as well as in other fairs and programmes organized by various Departments from time to time. He also directed that the achievements of Haryana should be widely publicized in various trade fairs organized from time to time at national and international level so that Haryana becomes globally recognized.It was appraised in the meeting that the Trade Fair Authority Haryana will also participate in Pravasi Bharatiya Divas-2023 to be held in January, 2023 and Aahar International Fair-2023 to be held from March 14 to 18, 2023. In the meeting, information was also given regarding participation in various fairs during the year 2021-22.Amoung those present in the meeting include Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, Smt. G. Anupama, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal and other senior officers.
