Haryana to get 270 new PM-Shri schools by next year

Haryana School Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal said that the zero drop out policy is being worked out in the state to connect every child with the mainstream through education. He said that there will be no dropout in the state by next year. For this, about 48 lakh children in the age group of 6 to 18 years are being tracked to know the status of their education.The Education Minister informed that the new National Education Policy will be implemented in Haryana by 2025. He informed that under the Pradhan Mantri School for Rising India (PM-Shri) scheme launched by the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, 270 PM-Shri schools will be opened in 135 blocks of the state by the next year. He informed that the National Education Policy has been prepared to impart education among children by imbibing values in them. Which was targeted to be implemented across the country by 2030 but Haryana is moving forward with the vision to implement it by 2025.More than 5 lakh tablets given to students studying in government schools Sh. Kanwar Pal said that for the first time in the country, five and a half lakh tablets were distributed to the students of classes X to XII to connect the children of government schools with technology.
