The festival also&nbsp; signifies the promise that a brother makes to protect his sister from any wrong&nbsp;that might be done to her, at all costs.&#8221;<br>Highlighting the importance of holding any type of social service&nbsp;like&nbsp;a bhandara on auspicious occasions like &#8216;Raksha Bandhan&#8217;, Amitabh Rungta said that it is a matter of good fortune for the&nbsp;organiser to hold a bhandara on such holy festivals.
