{"id":20531,"date":"2026-01-24T22:00:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-24T16:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indiaepost.com\/?p=20531"},"modified":"2026-01-24T22:00:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-24T16:30:17","slug":"mukh-mantri-sehat-yojana-gets-massive-public-response-for-second-consecutive-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indiaepost.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/24\/mukh-mantri-sehat-yojana-gets-massive-public-response-for-second-consecutive-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana gets massive public response for second consecutive day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CHANDIGARH, 24th January 2026:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh on Friday continued the registration drive under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna (MMSY) in Patiala on its second day and inaugurated health card issuing centres at Aman Vihar Colony, Tripri, Sukhram Colony, Village Lang, Mata Kaushalya Hospital and Rajindra Hospital, strengthening the state\u2019s push towards universal healthcare coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh said, \u201cNow, every family of the state will get the facility of free treatment up to \u20b910 lakh, and even people belonging to the economically poor sections of society will be able to avail treatment in private hospitals.\u201d He underlined that the scheme has been designed to ensure that no citizen is denied quality healthcare due to financial constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Health Minister further stated that \u201call medicines as well as diagnostic tests will be provided free of cost,\u201d adding that citizens would have access to specialised treatment services including Orthopedics, General Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Urology, Oncology and other advanced medical disciplines. He clarified that \u201cthe diagnostic services along with the entire treatment cost in hospitals have been fully covered under the scheme.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure widespread awareness and on-ground implementation, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak conducted a special tour of villages Bamial, Narot Jaimal Singh and Aniyal in the Bhoa constituency of Pathankot.
