The marathon will be held on Sunday, 8 March 2026 at the NMIMS Chandigarh campus, commemorating International Women\u2019s Day with the powerful theme \u201cUnstoppable Her.\u201d<br>Dedicated to celebrating women in leadership and the spirit of empowerment, this year\u2019s edition highlights ambition, resilience, courage, and the transformative role of women in shaping modern India. The event is being organised in collaboration with the Chandigarh Administration and will be graced by the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Gulab Chand Kataria, as the Chief Guest.<br>Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Jyotsna Singh, said:<br>\u201cAt NMIMS Chandigarh, the Half Marathon is not just a sporting event but a meaningful annual movement, and every year it is dedicated to a social cause that carries a strong message for society. This year, as we host it on 8th March to mark International Women\u2019s Day, we celebrate the indomitable spirit of Indian women \u2014 their leadership, determination, and their growing role in nation-building. \u2018Unstoppable Her\u2019 is a tribute to every woman who balances aspirations with responsibilities and continues to break barriers in every sphere. Participant safety and comfort will be ensured through:<br>Hydration points at 1.5 km, 2.5 km, 6.5 km, and 8 km<br>Timing chip mats at start and finish points<br>Two fully equipped ambulance vans with nursing staff, physicians, and physiotherapists on-site<br>Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Jyotsna Singh, said:<br>\u201cAt NMIMS Chandigarh, the Half Marathon is not just a sporting event but a meaningful annual movement, and every year it is dedicated to a social cause that carries a strong message for society.
