Tandon made these remarks while addressing a gathering&nbsp;after inaugurating the 3rd India Skate Games&nbsp;along with Mahender Singh, Joint Director Sports. Notably, the&nbsp;21st Asian Roller Skating Championship is slated to take place in Chandigarh in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlighting the Administration\u2019s commitment, Tandon noted that any required infrastructure upgrades or new facilities for roller skating would be undertaken to ensure the successful conduct of the Asian Championship. The Governor of Punjab has also conveyed strong interest and support for hosting the prestigious event, reinforcing Chandigarh\u2019s emergence as a growing hub for roller sports in India, Tandon added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the 3rd India Skate Games has drawn nearly 600 skaters from across the country.&nbsp; The multi-discipline event features&nbsp;competitions in rink hockey (roller hockey), inline hockey, roller derby, alpine skating and downhill skating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tandon assured&nbsp;the skating community of full support from the Chandigarh Administration for the growth of roller sports in the region.
