Panchkula<\/strong>:\u00a0The\u00a0Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust\u00a0organised its\u00a0232nd Community Kitchen (Ann Bhandara)\u00a0in Panchkula’s\u00a0Industrial\u00a0Area Phase 1, providing freshly prepared meals to needy and underprivileged people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on the sidelines of the bhandara, Amitabh Rungta, Founder, Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust and Social Worker, said community kitchens could play an important role in addressing hunger while promoting responsible use of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFood is a basic necessity, and no one should have to go hungry when food is available in society. Regular community kitchens can ensure that wholesome meals reach those who need them while also encouraging people to value food and avoid unnecessary wastage,\u201d Rungta said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that food grains represented the hard work of farmers and the use of valuable resources such as water, land and energy. \u201cWe must learn to save food, avoid wastage and share surplus responsibly. Feeding someone in need is not only an act of charity but also a meaningful way of respecting the food we have,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rungta said the Trust would continue organising Ann Bhandaras and community kitchens at regular intervals and encouraged individuals and organisations to adopt the principle of \u201csave food, share food and do not waste food\u201d in their daily lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
