Once they are upgraded, they shall all be compliant with NGT norms of less than 10 BoD. One plant at Malloya is already compliant and two other plants at Dhanas and 3 BRD have been upgraded and are under stabilisation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking a serious view of the delay in completion of 3 plants, the Adviser to Administrator issued directions to Smart City Chandigarh to ensure that the work of upgradation is completed by 30th of April, failing which he directed that the contractor be heavily penalised.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the upgraded STPs, he directed that flow meters be set up at inflow and outflow points.
