A total of 264 teams of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) detected 1144 power theft cases of 2320 KW load and a fine of about Rs 2.90 crore was imposed accordingly.Managing Director of UHBVN, Dr. Saket Kumar shared the details of the campaign, stating that it involved comprehensive inspections conducted throughout the state by the Nigam. The Nigam, with the assistance of law enforcement authorities, took strong measures against individuals involved in power theft by carrying out coordinated raids across all districts of the state .
