Haryana, Nuh, District Magistrate, Sh. Dhirendra Khadgata has issued orders under Section 3(1) of the Punjab Village and Small Town Patrol Act, 1918, to set up Thikri Pehra in all the villages and towns of Nuh district from August 26 to August 28, 2023. To enforce these orders, The Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Nuh will be overall in charge of compliance with these orders and the District Development and Panchayat Officer, Tehsildar and Sub-Tehsildar of the concerned area, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Gram Panchayat and local bodies will cooperate with him. Additionally, all station managers are directed to maintain contact with the relevant municipal corporations, municipalities, and village panchayats in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy Commissioner has made it clear in the orders that, in light of the invitation by the Hindu Sarvajati Mahapanchayat for the Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra on August 28th, 2023, these curfew orders have been issued to maintain law and order in Nuh district until August 28th, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further added that a ban under Section 144 has been imposed around public places in Nuh district, gathering five or more individuals until the specified date.
