The Congress announced the start of the ‘Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress’ campaign in Haryana from January 15. It was decided that that the party would reach every home and every voter, showcasing the policies of the Congress and the failures of the government, at a state level meeting of the party at Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh today. 

The meeting was presided over by party in-charge Deepak Babaria. Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, State President Chaudhary Udaibhan, Rajya Sabha member Deepender Hooda, party MLAs, former MLAs, senior leaders and Congress volunteers attended the meeting.

Party in-charge Deepak Babaria said Haryana Congress is continuously working in election mode. “Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is going to start from 14th, and this yatra too is also expected to get historical support like ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. The very next day, a new campaign will be started by Haryana Congress,” he said.

“Jan Aakrosh rallies are being held continuously by the party, which are getting tremendous support from the public. Now one to one communication will be established with the voters through ‘Har Ghar Congress’ campaign. The workers will tell the public how Congress is known for keeping its promises, while BJP is known for breaking promises,” he added. 

Babaria pointed out that the BJP has retracted from the announcement of ₹500 cylinder in Rajasthan. “Today there is an atmosphere of inflation and inequality in the entire country including Haryana. The youth of Haryana are forced to migrate from the country. BJP-JJP have broken all records of unemployment and corruption in Haryana,” he stated.

On this occasion, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said there was a clear wave in favour of the Congress in the state and added that the the obvious does not need proof. “The wind of change in favour of the Congress can be clearly felt in Haryana. During Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Congress held record breaking rallies in Mewat and Panipat. Recently, the ‘Kisan Mazdoor Jan Aakrosh Rally’ in Sirsa left all the rallies behind in terms of crowd attendance,” he stated.

“The actions of BJP-JJP have been exposed before the public. Congress had made Haryana number one in per capita income, investment, employment generation, law and order, development and prosperity, but the present government has made the state number one in unemployment, inflation, crime, drugs, corruption and atrocities. That is why the public is inclined towards Congress. The support base of Congress is continuously expanding in the state. The party is getting stronger with the continuous joining of leaders like Nirmal Singh and Chitra Sarwara in Congress,” he added. 

The former Chief Minister said he would launch the ‘Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress’ campaign from Jind, while state Congress president Chaudhary Udaibhan would launch it in Narnaul and Congress MP Deepender Hooda would launch the campaign from Rohtak.

Haryana Congress president Chaudhary Udaibhan said a committee of 31 people will be formed at the booth level under the new campaign. “The responsibility of this committee will be to eliminate bogus votes, know the problems of the people and connect them with Congress through social media,” he said.

“War rooms will be set up by the party in Delhi and Chandigarh. Jaideep Dhankhar has been made the chairman of Delhi War Room. At the same time, the command of Chandigarh has been handed over to Chandvir Hooda, Ravindra Rawal and Pawan Jain. Under this, 30 coordinators will be appointed, who will perform various responsibilities in all the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies. In the coming days, the entire state will be painted in the colors of Congress,” he stated.

Deepender Hooda said despite being in power, BJP-JJP leaders are leaving the party and they are continuously joining Congress, despite the party being in opposition. “So far, 37 former ministers and former MLAs from other parties have joined Congress. This is the result of the party’s activism because Congress has played the role of a strong opposition in the last four and a half years,” he said.

“Congress has been seen standing together in the struggle of every class. Haryana has always created history. Be it farmers or wrestlers, the government always had to bow before the struggle and resolve of the people of Haryana,” he added.

During the hearing of a case of not paying salaries through the Municipal Corporation to the tube well operators of 24 villages included in the Municipal Corporation in the year 2020, a negligence on a significant scale by the Faridabad Municipal Corporation came to light. The issue arose from the issuance of two letters with the same dispatch number. One letter stated the payment of salaries to employees through the municipal corporation, while the other mentioned not paying the salaries. Consequently, an MCF employee was suspended, and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal directed the filing of an FIR against the employee. A comprehensive investigation into the entire matter was also directed by the CM.

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee at HSVP Convention Centre, Faridabad on Wednesday. Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma was also present on the occasion.

In the meeting, 13 out of 16 grievances were promptly resolved on the spot. Among them was a case involving Sharda Devi, a resident of Ballabgarh, whose 66-square-yard plot was unlawfully seized by a local person. Sharda Devi claimed to have paid the full amount for registry and documentation but faced illegal possession of her property. In response, Chief Minister Manohar Lal directed the police to vacate the property and ensure that Sharda Devi gets a house. Along with this, instructions were given to a plot holder in the HSVP sector to make a policy and give him another plot of the same price and size if he does not get the possession despite purchasing the plot in the auction.

The meeting also addressed the long-standing issue of water scarcity in villages such as Hirapur, Naharavali, and a dozen others in the district. On this, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that now one lakh three thousand cusecs of water is flowing in the canal and he congratulates all the villagers for this. Similarly, taking cognizance of a complaint regarding pollution in Jhar Sentli village, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal constituted a committee headed by SDM which will solve the problem of grey water of industries and ensure that it is used for plants. Along with this, Chief Minister Manohar Lal informed media persons that an 800-megawatt solar energy power plant will be installed in Yamunanagar soon. He further stated that the process of sending one lakh youth abroad through legal means is underway.

The meeting was attended by the Faridabad MLA, Sh. Narender Gupta and MLA, Sh. Nayan Pal Rawat, besides several other senior officers.

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that Haryana is poised to become the future hub of the country’s industrial revolution, boasting a conducive environment for investors. The state government is actively offering various facilities to attract and support industries establishing their presence in Haryana.

The Deputy CM shared this information during a discussion with Her Excellency Marissa Gerrards, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to India. Mr. Dushyant Chautala was in Gandhinagar to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 and took the opportunity to visit the “Haryana Pavilion” during the event.

The Deputy Chief Minister, during the presentation of the proposal for industrial investment to Her Excellency Marissa Gerrards, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, and representatives from various countries, said that Haryana is poised to be the golden future of the country in the realm of industrial revolution. The state boasts robust airport, railway, and road infrastructure.

Highlighting Haryana’s status as a preferred investment destination, the Deputy Chief Minister expressed confidence in the state’s continual appeal to investors. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Haryana witnessed significant investments from prominent companies, including the establishment of Maruti Suzuki’s plant.

The state government remains committed to supporting Haryana’s vision of contributing to India’s goal of becoming a 5 trillion-dollar economy. To achieve this, there is a focus on implementing efficient policies, ensuring quality infrastructure, facilitating ease of doing business, fostering an industry-friendly environment, and providing a competitive incentive structure.

Several effective measures have been undertaken by the state government to create a favorable environment for industries and trade. Timely delivery of government services, along with financial incentives for industrialists, traders, and investors, is a priority. Additionally, the state is actively working towards doubling exports in the near future, further contributing to economic growth and development.

The Viksit Bharat Yatra, today reached the village of Chhachhrauli in the Jagadhri assembly constituency. School Education Minister Shri Kanwar Pal participated at the event as the Chief Guest. While addressing the gathering he shared insights into various initiatives taken in the past nine years which has significantly eliminated the hassle faced by the common public in drawing the benefits of Government welfare schemes.

Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal stated that during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Chhachhrauli, 34 new Ayushman Chirayu cards, 18 new elderly pension schemes, and 8 BPL ration cards for eligible individuals were issued. Additionally, three individuals were registered under the Svamitva Scheme, and students excelling in sports and academics were also honored. The program also acknowledged progressive farmers and social workers.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to the welfare of the poor, Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, numerous efforts have been made for good governance and the well-being of the underprivileged since 2014.

Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal expressed satisfaction that in the present government, eligible beneficiaries are receiving free medical treatment through Ayushman and Chirayu cards. Basic amenities are reaching the doors of the poor, marking a significant change in Haryana where the government actively ensures that the benefits of various schemes reach those in need. Speaking about the robust infrastructure in the country and the state, he mentioned the widespread network of highways, expressways, and roads, making transportation simple therefore increasing employment opportunities for youth.

Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal stated that the Viksit Bharat Yatra is reaching every village, ensuring that people are informed about government schemes, and they can avail the benefits right in their villages.

He said that under the program ‘Meri Kahani Meri Jubani’, beneficiaries from different departments also shared the experiences of their success stories. Information about the achievements of the state government and the central government was also distributed to all the people by the Department of Public Relations, Language and Culture.

Haryana Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda, stated that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi is continuously working for the empowerment and well-being of the deprived, women, farmers, and youth. Under his leadership, the nation and the state have touched new heights of progress. The “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Jan Samvad” programme is ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach every section of society without any disparity.

During the programme held in the villages of Pyoda and Saran in Kaithal, Smt. Kamlesh Dhandha addressed the rural population. Prior to this, she inspected stalls set up by various departments within the school premises. On this occasion, she also administered an oath to make the country ‘Viksit’ Developed.

Minister, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda mentioned that the government is reaching people at their doorstep to provide the benefits of schemes, ensuring that the lives of the underprivileged can improve. The “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” is being conducted nationwide with the goal of making India developed by 2047. She urged all citizens to contribute their efforts to the vision of a developed nation.

She highlighted the challenges faced by rural women in the past, especially in dealing with the smoke coming from traditional stoves. Through initiatives like the Ujjwala Yojana, providing free gas cylinders, have eliminated such problems, giving women relief.

Surajkund Handicraft Fair-2024 will be organized from February 2 to February 18

President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Surajkund Handicraft Fair on February 2, 2024. Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal visited Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday to extend a personal invitation to the President for the Surajkund Handicraft Fair-2024, which she has graciously accepted. The fair is scheduled to take place from February 2 to February 18.

Following the meeting with the President, Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal while interacting with media representatives, said that the President has agreed to inaugurate the Surajkund Fair. The Chief Minister said that President’s participation would further strengthen the efforts of the state government.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal will participate in Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal will participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit scheduled to take place in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He shared that the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is a biennial event in Gujarat, initiated by Sh Narendra Modi during his tenure as the Chief Minister of the state. The summit attracts investors from both India and abroad, bringing together professionals from diverse fields for discussions. He highlighted the multitude of programs organized during the summit and added  that discussions will encompass topics such as establishing connections between Haryana and African countries, exploring contributions from individuals in various sectors, including education and technology. In addition, there will be deliberations on how Haryana can play a supportive role in the agriculture sector of African nations.

Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal said that the country has been eagerly awaiting the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for centuries, and now the moment has finally arrived as the temple is fully prepared. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ for Ramlala is scheduled to take place on January 22. He said that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi will personally grace the inauguration of this magnificent temple. The current atmosphere mirrors the jubilation that prevailed when Lord Shri Ramchandra returned to Ayodhya after triumphing over Lanka centuries ago. Similar to Diwali, the nation is expected to be immersed in a celebratory spirit on January 22, the day of Ramlala’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’. The Chief Minister extended congratulations to everyone on this momentous occasion.

Highlighting the collaborative effort involved, the Chief Minister emphasized that this is a social program with various organizations actively engaged in door-to-door activities. He also announced that a special train from Haryana to Ayodhya will be operational on February 9. Under the Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana, some individuals will have the opportunity to travel for free, while others not covered by this scheme, provided their income exceeds the specified limit, can participate by paying the fare.

 Haryana Chief Minister, Sh.  Manohar Lal today met the state players awarded with the Arjuna Award and their coach today at Haryana Bhavan in New Delhi. On this occasion, he also honoured the awardees and the coaches.

The Chief Minister congratulated Wrestlers Sunil Kumar, Antim Panghal and Golfer Diksha Dagar who were honoured with the Arjuna Award in the National Sports Awards 2023.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister sought suggestions from these athletes on how sports in Haryana could be further promoted. Responding to this, the athletes praised Haryana’s sports policy, stating that it has boosted the morale of athletes, and the youth are now more inclined towards sports due to this Pro-player Policy. In the state villages, the youth are now practising sports to make a future in them.

Haryana is giving the highest cash rewards to medal winners

The Chief Minister shared that Haryana is giving the highest cash rewards to medal winners in the country. He assured that the government would implement any good suggestions given by athletes to give a further boost to the sports infrastructure and facilities. He expressed pride when Haryana athletes win medals on the international stage, and when the National Anthem is played, it becomes a mesmerizing and prideful moment for all Indians.

Despite being a small state geographically, Haryana has been the leading state in winning medals at both the National and International levels. The Chief Minister stated that Haryana’s sports policy is providing opportunities for athletes to progress, and he hopes for even better results in the future.

During discussions with the athletes, the Chief Minister inquired about the need for sports equipment in villages through District Sports Officers. Following the demands, sports equipment will be made available through gram panchayats. A foundational framework for sports will be developed from village to village in Haryana so that the youth can be nurtured since childhood. Plans are also underway to establish specialised high-power performance centres to train youth in popular sports, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

Haryana’s sports policy is the best in the country, Athletes

On this occasion, Arjuna Awardees Sunil Kumar and Antim Panghal, who came to meet the Chief Minister, said that Haryana’s sports policy has given a boost to sports, especially in wrestling, where Haryana has achieved a separate status. Regardless of the competition, Haryana’s wrestlers are shining bright and are winning medals.

Arjuna Awardee Yogeshwar Dutt, who accompanied the players during the meeting with the Chief Minister, said that from the perspective of sports, Haryana is a prosperous state. Suggestions were also given to the Chief Minister during the meeting to further promote wrestling in the state. He said that the Chief Minister has been consistently making efforts to promote sports.

The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau achieved significant success today as CA Jitesh Chawla from Uttar Haryana Vitran Bijli Nigam was arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 18,600.

The spokesperson of the Anti-Corruption Bureau stated that the team received a complaint alleging that CA Jitesh Chawla from the UHBVN had declined to settle the complainant’s outstanding bill of Rs 1.16 lakh and to avail the benefits of a government scheme. A bribe was demanded in exchange for releasing the new meter connection. Acting on this information, the Anti-Corruption Bureau team devised a plan to apprehend the accused and successfully arrested him red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 18,600. The entire operation was conducted impartially and with complete transparency.

In connection with this case, a formal complaint has been registered against the accused at the Anti-Corruption Bureau police station in Ambala, and the accused has been taken into custody. The Bureau’s spokesperson urged the general public to promptly report any instances where an officer or employee demands a bribe in exchange for government work to the Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau’s toll-free numbers – 1800-180-2022 and 1064. Ensure to provide accurate information for swift and effective action.”

  Punjab Power Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO on Tuesday directed the Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL) to make advance arrangements to meet summer challenges so that should not face any difficulty in ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the people of the state.

          During a three-hour long meeting with the PSPCL officials here, the Power Minister asked the management to complete the tender process for the procurement of the required infrastructure and equipments as soon as possible to meet the possible increase in demand for electricity during upcoming summers. He said that all the formalities in this regard should be completed on time so that PSPCL does not have to face any kind of problem in meeting the peak demand of power during summers.

          Meanwhile, while reviewing various parameters related to the performance of PSPCL, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO directed the concerned officials to speed up the delivery of services to the people besides making special efforts to reduce the losses. He said that the settlement of average bill cases related to faulty meters should be ensured within one month.

          The Power Minister also directed the Chief Engineers of the Department to hold monthly review meetings with the concerned Divisional Officers so that further improvements could be encouraged in their performance. He also said the in future Chief Engineers would conduct cross visits to review the performance of divisions falling under each other.

          During the meeting, Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO congratulated the officials on the New Year expressing satisfaction that department set new records by facing many challenges during the year 2023, and expressed hope that the department will play an important role in lighting the state’s paths of progress.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is making significant strides across diverse villages and cities in Haryana. As communities extend a warm welcome to the Yatra, individuals are actively communicating their concerns to MPs, MLAs, and officials, resulting in prompt resolutions. This streamlined process has instilled satisfaction among the populace, eliminating the necessity to visit district headquarters, thereby saving valuable time and resources. Furthermore, participants are capitalizing on health checkups conducted during the yatra, where health camps are conveniently set up at their doorsteps. To date, 7,23,456 individuals have undergone health checkups at various locations, and 4,98,023 people have been tested for TB, receiving free medications. The yatra has witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 40,16,294 attendees, including 23,19,454 men and 16,89,935 women registering their presence. It’s worth noting that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi aims to position India as a global developed nation by 2047, and the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ supports this vision, commencing on November 16, 2023.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra acknowledges village-based medal-winning athletes, women excelling in diverse fields, and outstanding students. A total of 25,509 women, 43,270 students, and 6,295 athletes have been honored, along with 5,932 artists receiving awards.

Information and Benefits of Public Welfare Schemes

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra not only informs attendees about both Central and State public welfare schemes but also facilitates immediate benefits. For instance, 1,20,411 Ayushman Bharat cards were instantly issued during yatra programs, and discrepancies in family identity cards for 1,62,239 individuals were rectified.
