IEP Chandigarh, January 31

Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, while addressing the officers of civil and police administration of the state, said that the greatest quality of morality is sensitivity. Therefore, we all have to work with greater sensitivity towards the deprived section of society so that we can establish ourselves as role models.

Chief Minister was addressing the ‘ethics conclave’ organized by Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) for the officers of civil and police administration of the state at Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban.

He said that approximately 2 lakh state employees have already been benefited from the ‘Mission Karmayogi Haryana’ campaign organized by HIPA. The primary objective of this campaign is to steer the attitude of officers and employees in the right direction, thus propelling the development path of Haryana in the right direction.

The Chief Minister said that the path of morality can only be pursued by altering one’s thinking and vision. Corruption and immorality stand as significant impediments to this pursuit. If we aim to set ourselves as ideals, it is imperative to influence others by transforming our own perspectives and attitudes.

Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal said that the way Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi has imagined a developed India by 2047, he has strived to disseminate this vision from himself to the general people. He emphasized that the realization of this vision relies solely on the infusion of morality into society.

Furthermore, he highlighted plans for a second phase to be organized within two years. He noted that when there is purity in the environment, it enhances overall well-being. Similarly, he stressed the need to align our thoughts, ensuring that officers and employees working in the field carry out their duties with sincerity and integrity towards public service.
