Chandigarh, April 6: The proceedings of Corporate Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Panchkula, of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will be conducted by its Chairman and Members on Monday from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm at the office of Corporate Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), Panchkula. During this, only the complaints of consumers of Panchkula district will be heard.
Giving information, a spokesperson of the corporation said similarly, the proceedings of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum will be conducted by the Chairman and Members on April 8 (Tuesday) from 11.30 am at the office of the Superintending Engineer, Panchkula. He said the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam is committed to provide uninterrupted power supply to the consumers. Many ambitious programmes are being run by the corporation for quick resolution of consumers’ problems.
He informed that the members of the Forum will hear all types of problems of the consumers of Panchkula district, which mainly include complaints related to billing, voltage, metering, disconnection and reconnection, disruptions in power supply, lack of efficiency, safety, reliability and disobedience of the orders of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, etc. However, the Forum will not hear cases related to power theft and unauthorized use of electricity under Section 126 and Section 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act, penalties and fines and investigations and accidents under Section 161. All consumers are requested to avail this opportunity to redress their complaints.
