Chandigarh, July 19- Haryana Health, Medical Education and Research and Ayush Minister Kumari Arti Singh Rao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh.Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is fully committed to addressing the shortage of doctors in Haryana. The government is giving special focus on recruiting doctors and the recruitment process is being carried out in a systematic manner.
Kumari Arti Singh Rao said this while addressing a programme organised in Kheri and Nawdi villages of the Ateli Assembly constituency on Saturday.
The Health Minister said that providing quality health services to every citizen is a top priority for the government. To achieve this goal, the health department is continuously recruiting new doctors to strengthen healthcare services in both rural and urban areas. She said that the government is ensuring that the recruitment process is transparent and swift so that qualified doctors can start serving the public as soon as possible.
The Health Minister further said that under the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission, new buildings for sub-health centres will be constructed in the villages of Tigra, Bajad, Bihali, and Mohalda in Ateli block. These sub-health centers will help improve primary healthcare services in rural areas. Local residents will benefit from basic health check-ups, vaccination, pregnancy-related care, and treatment for common diseases right near their homes, reducing the need to travel long distances to big hospitals or main health centres.
The Health Minister also interacted with local villagers and listened to their problems. She announced an amount of Rs.10 lakh to the Panchayat of Kheri village for development works. She also planted a sapling in Kheri village under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, promoting the message of environmental protection.
