Chandigarh:
The Chandigarh Renewable Energy, Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST), Chandigarh Administration, will organise Solar Awareness and Facilitation Camps on 15 February 2026 (Sunday) under the flagship Government of India scheme PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
The initiative aims to promote the installation of rooftop solar systems among residential households and to facilitate citizens with on-the-spot registration and guidance regarding subsidy and loan benefits.
Representatives from leading banks and registered empanelled vendors will remain present at the camps to assist residents with registration, loan formalities and technical queries.
