Chandigarh: Shoolini University partnered with TEDx Sukhna Lake 2026 as its Powered-by Partner, supporting a platform that brought more than 20 speakers from India and abroad to Tagore Theatre.
Held under the theme ‘The Age of Possibilities’, the second edition featured talks spanning technology, business, healthcare, finance, defence, media, sports, governance, real estate and entrepreneurship. The partnership reflected Shoolini University’s focus on education, innovation, skills and ideas shaping the future.
A key speaker was Anchit Nishant, Solutions Architect at OpenAI, who discussed artificial intelligence and its growing real-world applications. Ankit Sharma, Country Head – Ads Solutions, Google India, and Raveesh Bhatnagar, Digital Transformation Expert and AI Productivity Evangelist, spoke about digital growth, AI and the future of work.
The line-up also included Ar. Vishwas Chadha, Director, Atlantis Group; Gurinder Bhatti, Founder and Chairman, GB Realty; and Divam Juneja, Founder, Juneja Ventures LLP, who brought perspectives from entrepreneurship, investment, architecture and real estate.
Finance and governance were represented by CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, 73rd President of ICAI, and Chakshu Roy, Head of Legislative and Civic Engagement at PRS Legislative Research.
Dr Nidhi Jain, Dr Ajoy Kumar, IPS, Drishmeet Singh Buttar and Navnita Gautam spoke on healthcare and human performance. Lt Gen Kamal Jit Singh, PVSM, AVSM & Bar (Retd), former General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Command, drew on his experience in military and strategic leadership.
Other speakers included Jiwandeep Singh Ghai (JD Ghai), Poonam Nikam, Vidisha Chatterjee, Inderjit Aulakh, Ian Issa, Lalit Agnihotri, Ravalnath Shende and Dr Pramod Bhargava.
Nishtha Anand, Shoolini University Trustee and President (Marketing and Skills), said, “TEDx Sukhna Lake brought speakers of global recognition to Tagore Theatre, creating a space where diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas could be heard on one stage.”
Through its association with TEDx Sukhna Lake, Shoolini University helped bring conversations on emerging technologies, leadership, enterprise and social change to a wider audience in Chandigarh. The event concluded with ideas that continued to generate discussion beyond the sessions.
