After being appointed by the Punjab Public Service Commission, Mr. Preet Kanwal Singh and Mr. Gurmeet Singh Khaira today joined the Department of Information and Public Relations, Punjab as Joint Director and Deputy Director, respectively.Mr. Preet Kanwal Singh has long working experience in TV and newspaper field. In 2011, he joined the department as Assistant Public Relations Officer and elevated as Information and Public Relations Officer in the year 2015. During this period, he served as District Public Relations Officer at Ropar and SAS Nagar besides working in the Press Section at the headquarter.Likewise, newly-appointed Deputy Director Mr. Gurmeet Singh Khaira has long experience in journalism. He worked with various TV channels before joining the government sector. Appointed as Information and Public Relations Officer in the year 2011, Mr. Khaira had served as District Public Relation Officer at Barnala and Ropar, including the Press Section and Advertisement Branch of the department.Â
