The Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala directed the officers of the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure the provision of clean drinking water to the villages in the Uchana Assembly Constituency. This directive includes the implementation of a comprehensive plan to supply drinking water from the Bhakra Canal to approximately seventeen villages within the Uchana Assembly Constituency. While presiding over a meeting regarding redressing the issue of water supply in villages of Uchana Assembly Constituency, the Deputy Chief Minister further directed the officers of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department to ensure sufficient water supply for irrigation purposes, covering every single field within the Uchana Assembly Constituency. This proactive step aims to support agricultural activities and promote agricultural growth, benefiting the farmers and contributing to the overall development of the constituency. Haryana Minister of State for Labour, Mr. Anoop Dhanak was also present on the occasion. In response to the persistent demand of the people of Bithmara village regarding supply of clean drinking water, Mr. Chautala has directed the officers of the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure the supply of clean drinking water from Bhakra Canal to Bithmara village, a distance of approximately 8 kilometers, through a modernized Rising Main System. The Deputy Chief Minister expressed his deep concern for the well-being and health of the residents of Bithmara village. Recognizing the importance of clean drinking water as a fundamental right, he underscored the need for immediate action to ensure that the villagers have access to safe clean drinking water. The officers of Public Health Engineering Department have been directed to expedite the implementation work of Rising Main System, which will effectively transport water from Bhakra Canal to Bithmara village. The Deputy Chief Minister’s proactive approach demonstrates his commitment to improve the standard of living for rural communities, particularly in regard to basic amenities such as clean drinking water. Besides this, the officers of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department have informed that the installation of a Raw Water Pumping System has been approved for 14 villages, with a budget allocation of Rs. 60 crore.
