Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij directed to replace the IO who did not take action in a case of murder in Jhajjar and to conduct the investigation of this case by the DSP of another district.
Sh. Anil Vij, witnessed the influx of hundreds of complainants from various corners of the state to his residence in Ambala on Saturday. The complainant from Jhajjar informed Home Minister Anil Vij that some accused attacked her father-in-law and ended up killing him. In this case, the police registered a case against the accused but did not take action. His accusation was that the police let some accused go in this case. Taking strict notice of the complaint, Home Minister Anil Vij directed action to be taken in the case.
A female complainant from Kurukshetra said that her husband drives a horse-cart. A few months ago, they went with a horse-cart for a wedding during the night. Relatives of the groom fired, and the bullet hit her son. The son was treated at the hospital, and the police registered a case, but the accused were not arrested. The Home Minister called the SP of Kurukshetra, giving directions for the arrest of the accused at the earliest.
Home Minister Anil Vij assigned the SIT to investigate several cases of immigration fraud after the cases of fraud surfaced in front of him under the pretext of sending people abroad. A resident of Yamunanagar said that an agent cheated him of 16 lakhs rupees under the guise of sending his son to Canada. Similarly, a woman from Barara said that an agent cheated her of Rs. 5 lakh under the pretext of sending her husband to Armenia. A resident of Shahzadpur said that an agent cheated him of 51.65 lakh rupees under the pretext of sending his son to America. When asked for the money back from the agent in Mohali, he threatened them. Similarly, a woman from Yamunanagar was cheated of Rs. 2.15 lakh under the pretext of sending her son to Dubai. In this way, other cases of immigration fraud were also reported, for which the Home Minister gave directions for action to the SIT.
A complainant from Nuh informed the Home Minister that her minor daughter was kidnapped a year ago, but the police have not been able to find her yet. Expressing dissatisfaction with the SP in the case, the Home Minister directed strict action in the case. Similarly, a family from Karnal said that an accused falsely acquired 21 acres of their land, drugged their father first, and then fraudulently acquired the land through forged signatures. Minister Vij directed the SP Karnal to investigate the case.
On this occasion, DSP Ashish Chaudhary and Ram Kumar along with other senior officers were present.
