The Punjab Raj Bhawan witnessed an inspirational exchange of ideas, experiences and aspirations between the seasoned leader and the young civil servants as ShriBanwari Lal Purohit, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh met with 18 IAS probationers, igniting a spirited dialogue on the importance of integrity and commitment in serving the nation.
In an enlightening session at the Punjab Raj Bhawan, the Governor shared profound insights with the young aspirants and gave them “Mool Mantra” of content life which he described as transparency in work, time Management, simple living, humility and honesty.
Addressing them, the Governor highlighted the significance of upholding honesty and diligence in their endeavors, underscoring that the civil services are not just a profession but a solemn commitment towards the betterment of society and the nation at large.
“It’s imperative to uphold the values of integrity and dedication as pillars of your service. Your role transcends mere governance; it’s about catalyzing positive change, addressing society issues, and fostering inclusive development,” remarked the Governor during the engagement.
The Governor passionately exhorted the probationers to be proactive in identifying and addressing the challenges faced by the society, underscoring the need for innovative solutions and empathetic governance.
Expressing his confidence in the abilities of the young probationers, the Governor encouraged them to navigate their careers with a sense of purpose, empathy, and unwavering dedication.
