IEP Chandigarh, January 26
Haryana’s distinctive image to becoming a prosperous and developed state by implementing innovative schemes with blend of technology and digitalisation was showcased on Kartvyapath in national capital Delhi on Republic Day. The Family ID or Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), which has revolutionised the delivery system of benefits of government schemes at the grassroot level, was exhibited in front of the nation and the world through a tableau. With the help of these innovative schemes, many of which have been adopted at the national level, and digitalisation of services is gradually developing the state into a ‘New Haryana’ were aptly showcased in the Tableau.
The tableau displaying the image of developed Haryana was a point of attraction for everyone and was successful, to a larger extent, in giving a message that Haryana remains the first choice for industrial investment today. This time the Government of India had suggested two themes for the tableaux . ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Mother of Democracy’. The Haryana tableau depicting development in many facets synchronised with the theme suggested by the Central Government . The unique PPP scheme of Haryana was highlighted as through it he state government is delivering benefits of government schemes to the eligible beneficiaries at their doorstep, without even going to the government offices, on the basis of available data. This unique scheme helps the government in identifying the actual beneficiaries for providing them relief of the welfare schemes of the government. The eligible beneficiaries get the benefits sitting at their homes and this was shown on the tableau. According to the data recorded in the family identity card or PPP, the eligible families are easily able to get the benefits of PDS ration, pension, old age allowance, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, scholarship, subsidy etc.
The tableau also showcased the rapid changes in the direction of development in Haryana. For example, in the field of education, connecting the youth with modern technology, the students studying in classes 10th and 12th in government schools were given free tablets so that they can continue their studies online. The state government has set a record by distributing free tablets to more than five lakh students studying in classes 10th to 12th in government schools under its ambitious e-learning programme ‘e-Adhigam.’
The tableau also depicted the excavation work being done in Hisar’s Rakhigarhi, where remains of Indus Valley Civilization and Pre-Harappan Civilization have been found, which reflect our ancient civilization. The strengthened infrastructure , well maintained roads, including the expansion of the metro network, laying of new highways and rapid industrial progress were part of tableau. The unique model of urban development of the state was also showcased. Apart from this, the increasing industrialization due to the industrial friendly environment created in the state was also shown in the tableau of Haryana.
The headquarter building of International Solar Alliance (ISA) established in Haryana was also visible on the Tableau. This headquarter has been set up near village Gwal Pahari in Gurugram district, which was established on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to provide a platform for cooperation among solar resource rich countries in meeting their specific energy needs.
*Haryana’s rich cultural heritage seen on the Kartavya path, image of ‘Vikasit Haryana’ heard in the song*
Along with the tableau of Haryana, women in traditional Haryanvi attire were seen performing Haryanvi dance on both sides. During this, the song ‘Jai Haryana, Vikasit Haryana’ was heard in Haryanvi dialect. This song is all about , the atmosphere of peace, tranquility and the development happening in Haryana. It is worth mentioning that Haryana’s tableau has got a place in the Republic Day Parade at national level for the third consecutive time. Last year, Haryana had prepared a tableau on the theme of ‘International Geeta Mahotsav’ on Republic Day, in which the Virat Swaroop of Lord Shri Krishna was shown. Prior to this, Haryana had showcased its achievements in sports through its outstanding Olympian players.
