Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that hassle-free procurement of Kharif crops is being done in 207 Mandis of the State.
“Till October 4, 11 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have been procured in the mandis by various agencies,” informed Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing a press conference held here today.
Divulging more details in this regard, the Chief Minister informed that 16,000 MT Bajra has been procured by HAFED. He said that this year the Minimum Support Price of Bajra is Rs 2350 per quintal.
The Chief Minister said that due to untimely rain certainly the farmers have suffered crop damage and to compensate the same directions for special girdawari have already been given.
Furthermore, the farmers have been encouraged to register their crop damage on the e-Fasal Kshatipoorti portal so that they can get timely compensation for the same.
“The State Government is committed to ensuring complete transparency in the verification and compensation for crop loss”, informed, Sh. Manohar Lal.
Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. D S Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Sh. M. D. Sinha and other officers also remained present on this occasion.
