Bathinda Branch of Sirhind canal will remain Closed till November 17

Bathinda Branch of  Sirhind Canal will remain closed for 19 Days till November 17. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson said that under Rule 63 of Rules framed under the Northern India Canal and  Drainage Act, 1873 (Act 8 of 1873) and keeping in view the weather conditions and crops, it is notified that the Bathinde Branch off-taking from tail RD 10751 of Combined Branch of Sirhind Canal will remain closed for 19 days from 30-10-2022 to 17-11-2022 (both dates/days included) to complete the work of internal clearance of the Canal.
