On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh,organized Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib with the help of Chairman of Allgurudwaras of Chandigarh Coordinating Committee, Sardar Tara singh, &president of Sardar Tejwant singh gill, Gurudwara Sahib, sector 34 tocommemorate the supreme sacrifice of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba FatehSingh, both sons of 10th Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.On this occasion, the Kirtan Jatha recited the words of Gurbani andthe inspiring story of the supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzadas werepresented by the kathawachak to the Sangat.Bharatiya Janata Party state president Arun Sood, former president andco-in charge of Himachal Pradesh Sanjay Tandon, mayor Sarabjit Kaur,general secretary Ramveer Bhatti, vice president Devendra Singh Babla,and members of organizaing committee Balwinder Sharma, DharmenderSaini, Didar singh attawa, Baljinder Gujral, Kulmeet sodhi, Districtpresident Rajinder Sharma, Mandal president Anita Joshi, along withparty office bearers and councilors were present on the occasion.State President Arun Sood said that the sacrifice made by Baba JorawarSingh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh, the Sahibzads of Dasham Guru ShriGobind Singh Ji, for the protection of religion is supreme andincomparable in history. At such a young age, the Sahibzadas chose tosacrifice their lives for the religion but refused to change theirreligion. This supreme sacrifice will continue to inspire the youth tosacrifice everything to protect their nation & religion.He said that the central government led by Shri Narendra Modi isorganizing various programs at different levels to make childrenacross the country aware of this supreme sacrifice.Commemorating the day of the supreme sacrifice of Sahibzadas by thecentral government by declaring the day as Veer Bal Diwas is indeed atrue tribute.
