IEP Chandigarh, February 18
Cultural function, performances and competitions marked the 2nd day of the three-day Chandigarh Rose Festival at Rose Garden, Sector 16, Chandigarh with the classical musical performance by Punjabi Musical Show and Bengali Music Show.
Punjabi Musical Show and Bengali Music Show arranged by Bangiya Sanskritik Sammilani, Chandigarh enthralled the audience by their performance on the main stage at Rose Garden, Sector 16, Chandigarh.
There were many attractions of this day which started with the Yoga session at main stage followed by Rose Prince and Rose Princess and then the Photography competition. After all this various cultural programmes were performed by various dances groups from various sides of our country.
The main attractions of the day was the Mr. and Mrs. Rose competition that took place in the Rose Garden. In addition to that various cultural programmes were organized by the artists of from various parts of country and other local artists from schools and colleges. Different competitions and shows including traditional Folk dance of Punjab (Bhangra), traditional Nagada and traditional Folk Dance of Rajasthan (Ghoomar) were also organized during the second day and finally the Light and Sound Show which gave a great view to the viewers.
