Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, has decided to auction the gifts presented as a mark of respect by social organizations or individuals during his various programmes.
Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations, and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal had formally opened the registration process on the CM-Uphaar portal in the past.
He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has also auctioned the gifts he had received and the amount received from it was used for the ‘Namami Gange project’. The Chief Minister has also envisioned that the payment received from the auctioning of these gifts will be directly transferred to Chief Minister Relief Fund and the same will be utilised for the welfare of the people of the State.
He informed that the online portal cmuphaarhry.com has been launched in the past. This portal will remain open till February 28, 2023. After that the portal will be reopened three or four times in a year in a phased manner. He informed that in the first phase, 51 gifts will be auctioned. Anyone can participate in the auction to buy gifts.
