The Haryana Government has notified the prescribed time limit for services to the citizens by the Fire Services Department under Haryana Right to Services Act, 2014.Sharing information in this regard, Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal said that a time limit of 30 days has been fixed for renewal of Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC).       Further, as per the nomenclature of the National Building Code, in case of Hostel (A – 5) less than 15 meters in height having plot area up to 4000 sq. mtr, Education Building (B) Less than 15 meters in height having plot area up to 8000 square meters, Institutional Building (C) Hospital, Sanatoria and Nursing homes (C – 1) less than 15 meters in height with plot area up to 4000 square meters, Custodial (C – 2) and Penal and Plental (C – 3) Less than 10 meters in height with plot area up to 4000 square meters, Assembly Buildings ( D 1 to D – 5 ) Less than 10 meters in height with plot area up to 4000 square meters, Mercantile & Business Buildings (E , F – 1 & F – 2) Less than 15 meters in height with plot area up to 4000 square meters, Industrial Buildings (G), Low Hazard (G – 1) Less than 15 meters in height but plot area up to 4000 square meters, Moderate Hazard (G – 2) Less than 15 meters in height but plot area up to 4000 square meters, High Hazard ( G – 3 ) Less than 15 meters in height but plot area up to 4000 square meters, Storage Buildings (H) Below 15 meters in height and plot area up to 4000 square meters, the time limit of 60 days has been fixed for issuing Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC).Further, as per the nomenclature of the National Building Code, in case of Residential Buildings (A), Dormitories (A – 3) and Apartment Houses (A – 4) 15 meters and above but not exceeding 35 meters in height, Hostel (A – 5) height less than 15 meters having plot area more than 4000sq. meters but less 8000 square meters, Education Building ( B ) height less than 15 meters in height having plot area more than 8000 square meters but less 16000 square meters, Institutional Buildings (C), Hospital , Sanatoria and Nursing homes (C – 1) less than 15 meters in height but plot area above 4000 square meters but less 8000 square meters, Custodial (C – 2) and Penal and Plental ( C – 3 ) Less than 10 meters in height with plot area more than 4000 square meters but less 15000 square meters, Assembly Buildings ( D – 1 to D – 5 ) Less than 10 meters in height with plot area more than 4000 square meters but less 8000 square meters, Mercantile & Business Buildings ( E.F – 1 & F – 2 ) Less than 15 meters in height with plot area above 4000 square meters but less 8000 square meters, Industrial Buildings ( G ), Low Hazard ( G – 1 ) less than 15 meters in height with plot area above 4000 square meters but less 8000 square meters, Moderate Hazard ( G – 2 ) Less than 15 meters in height with plot area above 4000 square meters but less 8000 square meters, High Hazard ( G – 3 ) Less than 15 meters in height with plot area above 4000 square meters but less 8000 square meters, Storage Buildings ( H ) Below 15 meters in height with plot area above 4000 square meters but less than 8000 square meters, the time limit of 60 days has been fixed for issuing Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC).He said that in case of buildings not falling in the above categories, the time limit of 60 days has been fixed for issuing Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) in case of buildings as per the nomenclature of the National Building Code.
