In the meeting, a presentation was also given regarding Covid-19, in which it was told that 80,208 new Covid cases have been reported globally in the last week, in which USA, Japan, France, South Korea, Russia have 54.2 percent participation while India has a share of only 3.3 per cent. It was informed in the meeting that there are 53 testing labs in the state, out of which 26 are government and 27 private. In addition, there are 18 District Molecular Labs and 4,867 Isolation Beds for Pediatric Patients, 3,704 Oxygen Pediatric Patients Beds, 2,067 ICU Beds, 817 Neo Natal ICU Beds, 1,250 Pediatric ICU Beds, 733 Ventilator Pediatric. Similarly, there are 101 oxygen plants, 907 ventilators, 7,521 oxygen concentrators, and 16,734 oxygen cylinders.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Dr. G. Anupama, Managing Director of Health Mission Dr. Prabhjot Singh, Director of Medical Education Department, Dr. Aditya Dahiya, Director of Health Services Department, Dr. Usha and Dr. V.K. Bansal were present.
