The highly anticipated Raahgiri Programme will be held in Sector-5, Panchkula on July 9 with the theme of “Patriotism.” The event aims to promote a sense of national pride and unity among the participants. The Tagline for the event is ‘Rang De Basanti.’Sh. Pankaj Nain, IPS, Special Officer to CM for Community Policing and Outreach Programme, shared the details of the event here today. Dignitaries including Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, Speaker Haryana Vidhan Sabha Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, and Mayor Panchkula Sh. Kulbhushan Goyal will grace the occasion with their presence. The Raahgiri Programme promises to offer a wide range of activities and cultural events to engage and entertain the participants. Renowned Indian singer Rahul Yadav Fazilpuria will captivate the audience with his enthralling performance. Additionally, several sports activities will be organized for sports enthusiasts. Participants will witness various attractions such as the Nirogi camp, Pariwar Pahchan Patra stall, nukkad natak (street play) on drug de-addiction, arts and crafts zone, fit zone, gatka (Sikh martial art), malkham (traditional Indian sport), yoga sessions, matka and lemon race, CPR activity, and a fun zone, among others. Furthermore, the Raahgiri Programme will feature seven mahila bazaars (women’s markets) organized by Self Help Groups, providing a platform for local women entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products. The event is expected to draw a large crowd and create a vibrant atmosphere of patriotism and community spirit. Participants of all ages are encouraged to join the festivities and actively participate in the activities and cultural programs.
