Haryana Agriculture and Farmers and Animal Husbandry Minister, Sh. JP Dalal left for a seven-day Japan tour on Saturday with a delegation of department officers to study new techniques in horticulture, vegetable production and agriculture.Agriculture Minister along with Additional Chief Secretary, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal, Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. K.M Pandurang, Director General Horticulture, Dr. Arjun Singh Saini, Joint Director, Dr. Jogendra Singh and Padma Shri awardee farmer, Sh. Kamal Singh Chauhan, a progressive farmer from Loharu assembly constituency, Sh. Amit Kumar are included in the delegation.The Agriculture Minister said that this visit to Japan will prove to be a milestone in the field of research and development for new technical information in the horticulture and agriculture sector to increase the income and employment of farmers. As a result, there will be a huge increase in crop diversification towards horticulture in the state.
