Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Dushyant Chautala chaired the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee at the DRDA Auditorium in Rohtak. During the meeting, he addressed various grievances, and a total of 16 grievances were promptly redressed on the spot. For the remaining pending grievances, committees were constituted, and directives were issued for the submission of reports. Mr. Dushyant Chautala, while addressing other complainants, directed Municipal Corporation officials to promptly initiate door-to-door garbage collection services. In response to another complaint, he instructed Public Health Engineering Department officials to expedite water connection installations in the respective areas and requested them to submit a report. Addressing a water drainage complaint concerning the fields of village Baniyani, he urged Irrigation Department officials to establish appropriate rainwater drainage arrangements. Additionally, he directed the sub-divisional magistrate of Sampla and the superintendent engineers of the Irrigation and Public Health Engineering Department to provide a report on the water issues in Atayal village. Regarding the grievance from the Resident Welfare Association of Omaxe City, Mr. Chautala directed the Deputy Commissioner to inform the Director of the concerned department about the pending EDC and IDC amounts that Omaxe needs to deposit to the Government. He also inquired about the current status of Omaxe City’s acquisition by the Municipal Corporation and requested Omaxe to submit a report detailing the number of licenses issued. Responding to a question about crop damage caused by heavy rains, he said that claims have been invited from farmers through the compensation portal. The government is currently preparing a report to assess the extent of crop damage due to waterlogging, and compensation will be distributed to affected farmers accordingly. The Deputy Chief Minister said that after a thorough investigation into the Nuh unrest, stringent actions will be taken against the culprits.
