Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that through the Antyodaya Melas, employment to about 50,000 people have been given by way of providing them loans according to their needs. Eleven people of village Gudha have also been made self-reliant by providing them loans, he added. The Chief Minister was interacting with the villagers in village Gudha of Kurukshetra district under the Jan Samvad programme late last evening. Earlier, under the Meri Maati- Mera Desh campaign, the Chief Minister planted saplings near the programme venue. Besides, he also hoisted the flag and bowed before the Shilaphalakam (Shilapatta) and administered the oath of Panch-Pran to all those present on the occasion. Member of Parliament, Sh Naib Singh Saini and State General Secretary, Sh Pawan Saini were also present. Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal said that it is a matter of great pride that under the Meri Maati-Mera Desh campaign and as per the unity and integrity of the Nation, Gudha village is the first such village in Haryana, from where the work of soil collection in the “Kalash” started today. This programme would run across the country for the next 15 days. The soil collected from districts and States will be transported to ‘Kartavaya Path’ in Delhi, he added. He said that so far he has done Jan Samvad Programmes in more than 50 villages and a target has been set to hold these mass contact programmes in 300 villages. There are clear instructions to the officers that they would ensure that complaints received during the Samvad Programmes are redressed on priority basis. Sh Manohar Lal said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi, the funds sent from the Center for development are hundred percent utilized on development works. The eligible beneficiaries also get the benefit under various schemes and programmes directly into their bank accounts. He said that the State Government has been successful in keeping a tab on corruption and by giving direct benefit to the eligible beneficiaries through DBT, an amount of Rs 1400 crore has been saved. He said that under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ayushman cards of 1279 people of Gudha village have been made, of which 88 people have so far taken the benefit. An amount of Rs 27.87 lakh has been spent on their treatment. While assuring to fulfil almost all the demands of villagers, he said that 52 roads are being constructed in Ladwa assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 25 crore. During the Jan Samvad programme, he also directed the officers to start bus service of Haryana Roadways from village Gudha to Yamuna Nagar via Radaur.
