A meeting of the Grievance Redressal Committee meeting will be held under the Chairmanship of Haryana’s Labour Minister, Sh. Anoop Dhanak on Monday, August 21, at the Mini Secretariat Complex, Charkhi Dadri. The meeting will be held at 11 am.Giving this information, Charkhi Dadri SDM, Sh. Naveen Kumar said that 15 complaints will be put up for hearing in this meeting. These include complaints related to the Police Department, Irrigation, Public Works, SDM Office Badhada, Labour Department, Public Health Engineering, Health, Excise and Taxation, City Council and Social Welfare. Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Preeti, Superintendent of Police, Ms. Nitika Gehlot, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jayendra Singh, District Public Representatives and members of the Grievance Redressal Committee will remain present in the meeting.No. IPRDH/2023Chandigarh, August 17- The Chairman, Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam along with the members of the Forum will take the proceedings of the forum in the office office of SDO/ OP Sub Division UHBVN Raipurani to redress the grievances and to hear the complaint of the consumers (belonging to Panchkula District only) and to entertain new complaints from 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM on August 18, 2023. While giving this information today, a spokesperson of UHBVN said that the Nigam is committed to provide uninterrupted power supply to the consumers. Several ambitious programs are being run by the Nigam for quick resolution of the problems of the consumers, he added. He said that the CGRF would take up all the grievances and complaints of consumers like billing problem, voltage complaints, problems in metering, disconnection and reconnection of power supply, interruptions, failure of power supply, efficiency, safety, reliability, non-compliance of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders etc. However, the cases of theft and unauthorized use of electricity, offences and penalties as specified under Section 126 and Section 135 to 139 of Electricity Act, accidents and inquiries as under Section 161 of the Act would not be considered by the Forum.
