Haryana, Labour Minister, Sh. Anoop Dhanak has announced the construction of a modern Public Works Department (PWD) rest house in Uklana, spanning about 1.5 acres of land adjacent to the sub-tehsil in Uklana on the Sirsa-Chandigarh main road, at an estimated cost of Rs.11crore 63 lakh. This rest house will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and has also received approval from the government.
Sh. Dhanak shared that the rest house, with an estimated cost of Rs. 11 crore 63 lakh, will include a Chief Minister’s suite, two VIP suites, five office rooms, a conference hall for 35 people, four shared rooms with twin beds each, a dormitory with six beds, a drawing room, a maintenance room, an electrical room, a dining room, a kitchen, a general restroom, and a specially-equipped restroom for differently-abled individuals.
Expressing gratitude for the approval, Sh. Dhanak thanked Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal and Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala. He assured that there would be no compromise in development projects in Uklana, including the upcoming construction of a railway overbridge on the Sirsa-Chandigarh main road.
