Union Minister of State Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar said that the government is committed to improve the lives of the poor and marginalised.
Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar, participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Faridabad on Tuesday.
He praised the Haryana government’s “Antyodaya” scheme, which aims to uplift the poorest of the poor and said that the government has implemented a number of Schemes to help the poor, including the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which provides upto Rs 5 lakh free healthcare to poor families annually, 11 crore women have been given free gas connections and the work of providing free food grains to crores of people.
“The more schemes the government creates for the poor, the happier society will be,” said Sh.Gurjar.
He said that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is proving to be efficient in reaching out the welfare scheme of the government to the last person in the society through this public is getting information about the schemes, ration cards are being made for the eligible people on the spot, correction in the Parivar Pehchan Patra, health check-up at the stall of the health department etc. are being given.
At the event, Sh. Gurjar also distributed gas cylinders and stoves to beneficiaries, and he interacted with people and heard their concerns.
He also called on people to work together to make India a self-reliant and developed nation by 2047 and also inspected the stalls at the Yatra and a presentation was also screened by the Bhajan Party of the Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department to spread awareness about the welfare schemes of the government among the public.
