Haryana Minister of State Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Sh. Gaurav Gautam said that to realise the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering and making youth self-reliant various new schemes have been introduced by the Central Government.
The Minister said that India’s youth would play a crucial role in realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed India by 2047, as the country has the world’s largest youth population. He said that as part of Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme, 1,.25,000 Youth across the Nation would be getting internship opportunity with top companies and to grab this opportunity, every instructor and category instructor at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) is required to register a minimum of 20 youth (10th pass, ITI, diploma holders, graduates) on the PM Internship Portal, [www.pminternship.mca.gov.in] (http://www.pminternship.mca.gov.in) , within the next 48 hours.
The Minister said that instructors are required to submit a list of registered youth to their institution heads (ITI/IToT) by noon on Monday, November 11, 2024. This report must include each candidate’s name, category, and registration number on the PM Internship Portal, and strict compliance is mandatory. Principals will collect and scan these reports from instructors and submit them to the Traineeship Branch Headquarters by 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Participating interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.5,000 along with a one-time grant of Rs.6,000.
