Chandigarh July 1: Excise and Taxation Department Government of Haryana celebrated GST Day on completion of 8 years of roll out of GST since 1st July 2017. Programmes were organised in districts and at the State Headquarter, wherein representatives of industries, Tax Bar Associations, Chartered Accountant associations participated.
Haryana has achieved total GST Collection of Rs. 119362 crores in FY 2024-25 with year on year growth rate of 18.7% from FY 2017-18 onwards. Haryana is ranked 5th in terms of total collection among all States in FY 2024-25.
The SGST revenue collected in the State in the FY 2024-25 was Rs. 23253.92 crores as against 20334.23 crores in FY 2023-24,thereby achieving growth rate of 14.35%.
The SGST (including IGST settlement) collected in the Stateduring 1st quarter of 2025-26 is Rs. 11457.4 crores against Rs. 9787.02 crores ofduring the corresponding period in the previous FY 2024-25, thereby exhibiting a growth rate of 17.01%.
Despite being a small State, Haryana is ranked 1st among major States and 4th overall on the basis of per capita GST collection of Rs. 47082.89/- in FY 2024-25,
Haryana has 5,79,133 registered tax payers under GST as on 01st July, 2025, out of which 330742 taxpayers are state assigned.
Commissioner and Secretary, Excise and Taxation, Haryana applauded the efforts of the Department on GST Day for being the top most contributor in State revenue and playing important role in overall development of the State.
Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana appreciated the high GST collection by Excise & Taxation Department and directed the officer to make further efforts for augmenting GST revenue.
