The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Panjab University, has invited applications for admissions in various Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes.
PU’s CDOE, which was earlier known as USOL, is currently accepting applications for 29 programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate, advanced diploma, and certificate courses. The last date to apply for most programmes is August 20, 2025.
The CDOE is offering a wide range of academic programmes including Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LIS), along with B.Ed (2-Year Course). Postgraduate programmes include Master of Arts in Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Punjabi, and Sociology; Master of Commerce; and Master of Business Administration. In addition, the Centre offers several Advanced Diploma programmes such as Computer Applications, Disaster Management & Corporate Security, Educational Management and Leadership, Guidance & Counselling, Human Rights & Duties, Health, Family Welfare and Population Education, Library Automation & Networking, Mass Communication, Photography, Statistics, and Social Work.
Certificate-level offerings include the Certificate Course in Vivekananda Studies (Annual), Certificate Course in Women Studies (Annual), and a specialized Certificate Course in Corporate Security, Safety and Fire Protection Management (6 Weeks), catering to diverse academic and professional interests.
Admissions to B.Ed (Semester-I) commenced on July 14, 2025, and candidates may apply through https://cdoebed.puchd.ac.in. For B.A. and B.Com Semester-I (New Batch), admissions will begin from August 1, 2025.
Admission to selected postgraduate programmes is being facilitated through the newly launched SAMARTH-supported Online Admission Portal, designed to provide a user-friendly and transparent application experience
As per Panjab University norms, eligible candidates can also avail themselves of scholarships, freeships, and fee concessions to support their academic journey.
