Chandigarh, July 28, 2025: Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Monday paid a courtesy call on Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The meeting took place following Prof Ghosh’s swearing-in as the 19th Governor of Haryana on July 21, 2025. He was accompanied by his wife Smt Mitra Ghosh.
“I had a fruitful discussion with Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu ji. She shared several valuable suggestions on how to address the current situation in Haryana. Much work needs to be done with sincerity and dedication, particularly in the fields of social welfare, culture, and education,” said Governor Prof Ghosh.
He further added, “I have been greatly enriched by the guidance of the Hon’ble President for the responsibilities that lie ahead.” Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu also presented a copy of the Constitution to Hon’ble Governor.
