Chandigarh, August 17 – Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Manisha is our daughter and daughter of the entire family. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure justice for her and her family. He added that the police are conducting a thorough and impartial investigation, and strict action will be taken against the culprits as soon as the investigation report is finalized. No one involved in this crime will be spared. He is personally receiving updates from the police on a minute-by-minute basis, and several individuals are being interrogated in connection with the case.
While speaking to journalists at Thanesar Anaaj Mandi on Sunday, Chief Minister Sh Saini also criticized the Congress party, saying its leaders have lost their mental balance. He remarked that in the past 55 years, the country has not progressed at the pace it should have due to Congress’s governance. Congress relied on empty promises to win votes. People are now aware of their policies, and the allegations against Congress leaders are well-known, he said. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enhancing India’s prestige on the global stage.
The Chief Minister accused Congress of disrespecting key institutions, including the President, Vice President, Lok Sabha, and even the judiciary.
On Rahul Gandhi’s visit, Chief Minister Saini recalled the previous visit, stating, The earlier visit had no impact; we will wait and see the outcome this time. Addressing allegations regarding Deepender Hooda meeting the Election Commission, he said, If the Election Commission were under control, how could Deepender Hooda have won? Congress is finished, and this time it will face defeat even in Bihar.
Highlighting the Prime Minister’s developmental initiatives, the Chief Minister said that Sh Narendra Modi has given a new direction to India in 11 years through development. He expressed gratitude for two major projects benefiting Haryana: the National Expressway connecting the airport to Sonipat and Bahadurgarh, which has further reduced travel time to the airport.
