Haryana sets National Benchmark in transparent recruitment process, 3 Lakh Youth Employed – CM Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh, Nov 1 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the current government has made unprecedented progress in youth employment, providing 300,000 young people with government job opportunities over the past 11 years in a fully transparent manner. Of these, 180,000 have been appointed to regular government positions, while 120,000 have secured employment through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN). He added that youth employed through the HKRN have not only received got job, but their future has also been secured. This process continues in a fully transparent manner.

The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference here today. On this occasion, he transferred over Rs. 109.65 crore to the accounts of 5,22,162 eligible women under the first installment of the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. He also launched a paperless registry system across the state, stating that the new system will relieve citizens from complex registration procedures, eliminate unnecessary delays and curb the possibility of corruption.

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the double-engine government is propelling Haryana forward on the path of innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive development. He said that the government has doubled the pace of development, fulfilling 48 of the 217 sankalps in just one year, while work on 158 sankalps continues.

The Chief Minister informed that a three-day cultural festival is being organized to celebrate Haryana Day this year, which was inaugurated today by Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh in Panchkula. He said that a weekly book fair will be held starting from the next Haryana Day.

Nayab Singh Saini stated that the current state government has recently completed 11 years of public service. Guided by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the government continues to implement the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. In recognition of youth talent, the Chief Minister said that the interview process for Group C and Group D recruitments has been abolished. Haryana’s transparent recruitment model has emerged as a national benchmark and has been repeatedly praised by the Prime Minister.

*Strong Ease of Doing Business Ecosystem Drives Industrial Growth*

The Chief Minister said that the state government is focusing on both education and skill development for youth in line with the new National Education Policy. A robust Ease of Doing Business ecosystem has been established to accelerate industrial growth.

Over the past 11 years, 12,20,872 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have been registered in Haryana, attracting investments worth Rs 28,377.59 crore. The Chief Minister highlighted that the state is now home to over 9,500 startups and 19 unicorn companies, signaling that Haryana is redefining prosperity while achieving remarkable progress in infrastructure development.

*Farmer Welfare a Top Priority: All 24 Crops Procured at MSP with Payment Within 48 Hours*

The Chief Minister emphasized that farmer welfare remains at the heart of government policies. In Haryana, all 24 crops are procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP), and payments are guaranteed within 48 hours of sale.  He further highlighted that under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, farmers have received Rs 15,627 crore in compensation for crop losses so far, reflecting the government’s commitment to supporting the agricultural community.

*Government committed to bring disadvantaged classes into the mainstream*

The Chief Minister said that the current government has worked to safeguard the rights of disadvantaged Scheduled Castes, ensuring their participation in government jobs, panchayat elections, and local body elections. He added that the government has also implemented various schemes for the welfare of backward classes and economically weaker sections.

*Women’s Empowerment at the Forefront*

Highlighting various initiatives for women empowerment, the 14.50 lakh women from poor families are provided gas cylinders at Rs 500 per month. Under the “Namo Drone Didi” scheme, 100 women have been trained in drone operation and provided with free drones, and 100 more women receiving free drone training this year. So far, 213,000 women in Haryana have been recognized as “Lakhpati Didi”.

Cooperation Minister Dr Arvind Sharma, Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Arun Gupta, Financial Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue Department Dr Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary of SEWA Department G Anupama, Director General of Information Public Relations and Languages Department K. Makarand Pandurang, Media Secretary to the Chief Minister Praveen Attrey and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
