Chandigarh: The Society for Divine Reiki Meditation, in collaboration with Global Alliance for Rights & Duties, organized two sessions at the Community Centre, Sector 27, Chandigarh. The event featured two key sessions: “Karma Yoga, a Key to a Happy, Peaceful Life” and “Cyber Smart Tips for Senior Citizens.” This program was supported by Senior Citizens Association Sector 27D Chandigarh.
The Karma Yoga session, led by Jasjeet Suri, Vice Principal of Chitkara School of Maritime Studies, highlighted timeless wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing duty without attachment, balance in success and failure, and mental steadiness for true peace and happiness.
The Cyber Smart session, conducted by Advocate Devansh Arora of Punjab & Haryana High Court, provided essential cyber safety tips for seniors, including not sharing OTPs, passwords, or PINs, avoiding unknown links, and reporting cyber fraud promptly.
Chief Guest Gian Singh, S.H.O. Police Station Sector 26, and Guests of Honour PP Jain Chairman, Daljit Singh General Senior Citizens Association and Shikha Nijhawan President Neighbourhood Development Association graced the occasion. Organizers Jasjyot Singh Almast and Lovleen Kaur stressed the importance of such talks for seniors’ emotional well-being and financial safety.
