Chandigarh, March 22 — Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday said that the state is playing a pivotal role in translating the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ into reality. He said the vision articulated by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi reflects the aspirations of 140 crore citizens, and the Haryana Government is working consistently to implement it on the ground.

Addressing the Viksit Badshahpur Maharally and House allotment programme in village Kakrola (Badshahpur Assembly constituency, Gurugram), the Chief Minister said that Badshahpur has emerged as a strong example of this development journey, where promises have been effectively converted into concrete outcomes.

The event was presided over by Industries and Commerce Minister,  Rao Narbir Singh and organised in coordination with the Housing for All Department. On the occasion, the Chief Minister handed over keys of newly allotted houses to 2,709 beneficiaries, marking a significant step towards ensuring housing for all.

Badshahpur’s Transformation Reflects Government’s Commitment

Highlighting the region’s progress, the Chief Minister said that areas once deprived of basic amenities have today transformed into symbols of development. He emphasised that the government has not limited itself to announcements, but has ensured their effective implementation on the ground.

He informed that over the past 11 years, a total of 81 Chief Minister announcements were made for Badshahpur, out of which 60 have been completed, while 8 are in progress. Development projects worth Rs. 15,166 crore have been implemented in the area during this period, compared to just Rs. 967 crore spent during the previous government’s tenure. This, he said, reflects the present government’s clear vision and strong commitment to development.

The Chief Minister reiterated that in its third term, the Haryana Government remains firmly committed to holistic development and safeguarding the interests of every section of society. Referring to the allotment of houses during the auspicious occasion of Navratras, he described it as not just a government programme, but a symbol of the government’s dedication to public welfare.

He said that the spirit of Navratras, representing strength, energy, and prosperity, reinforces the government’s resolve to provide dignified housing to every needy family. The focus, he added, is not merely on launching schemes but on ensuring their time-bound implementation with tangible impact.

Referring to the Budget 2026–27, the Chief Minister announced that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), 23,154 new houses will be constructed. Additionally, under the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana, 15,251 plots of 30 square yards will be allotted to eligible families across 16 cities, helping thousands realise their dream of owning a home.
