Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Limited has earned a profit of Rs 49.57 crore in the last two and half years: Golan

Chairman, Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Limited,  Sh. Randhir Singh Golan said that the Federation has earned a profit of Rs 49.57 crore in the last two and half years due to the dedicated efforts for improving the quality of products and marketing, branding and packaging of VITA products.He informed that total combined turnover of the federation and unions rose from Rs. 1159 Crore in financial year 2019-20 to Rs. 1505 Crore tentatively in financial year 2021-22. Accordingly total combined profit witnessed steep growth of three times from Rs. 11.50 Crore in financial year 2019-20  to 49.57 Crore in financial year 2021-22, which is an all time record in itself.He informed that with regards to the sale of milk and milk products, sale of liquid milk has witnessed a 7 percent increase during April – June 2022 quarter as compared to the same period last year. The sale of Ghee for the same period has witnessed increase of 29.95 percent, Dahi 54.5 percent and Lassi 48.70 percent.Sh. Randhir Singh said that the prime objective of the Federation is to increase the overall welfare and economic condition of dairy farmers and HDDCF has been continuously taking initiatives in this direction. Therefore, the Dairy Federation is doing commendable work in the direction of encouraging the farmers. The dairy business is a very profitable business related to rural areas, due to this people can become financially prosperous.Managing Director, HDDCF, Sh. A. Sreenivas said that geography wise marketing strategy, increasing marketing campaigns, tying up with modern/general trades and increase in vita booth/outlet network remains the important contours in this success.He also emphasized on the importance of infrastructure augmentation and said that HDDCF has initiated many projects which include setting up of new upgraded plant at Ambala, setting up of modern dairy plant in southern Haryana, setting up of central state laboratory for the sampling of food products in Rohtak, installation of Aseptic packaging lines in Rohtak, Increasing the capacity of Ghee plant in Jind.

If panchayats are unanimously elected, brotherhood and unity will rise and accelerate development at village-level: Dushyant

 Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that if the panchayats are unanimously elected, brotherhood and unity will rise and   accelerate development at village-level.The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with the newly elected members of the unanimously elected Panchayat of Sandil village of Uchana, in New Delhi today.Sh. Dushyant Chautala informed that the Gram Panchayat which will be elected unanimously, will be given an incentive of Rs. 11 lakh. Similarly, in gram panchayats, if the election of panch is held unanimously, they will be given Rs. 50,000 per panch. This amount will be used to complete the village’s development projects.He further informed that if the Zilla Parishad member is elected unanimously, Rs. 5 lakh per member will be given and this amount will be given to the Zilla Parishad. If the Panchayat Samiti member is elected unanimously, an amount of Rs. 2 lakh will be given and this amount will be given to the Panchayat Samiti.The Deputy Chief Minister, while extending best wishes to all the members on being unanimously elected, called for getting the development work done in solidarity.He asserted that the most essential thing is brotherhood, and Sandil village has set an example of this. He greeted all of the newly elected representatives and anticipated that, in the future, the Uchana Vidhan Sabha will also experience unprecedented levels of progress while working with the same spirit.

Chief Minister inaugurates NIT Faridabad Bus Port equipped with state-of-the-art facilities

From now, the bus stands in Haryana will be known as Bus Ports, said Haryana Chief Minister while inaugurating NIT Faridabad Bus Port equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The bus port has been constructed at a cost of Rs 130 crore on an area of four acres.

On this occasion, Sh. Manohar Lal also announced to name the State’s first Bus Port designed on PPP mode after Dr. Mangal Sen. After Faridabad NIT, now new bus ports will be built in Ballabhgarh, Sonipat, Karnal as well as two bus ports in district Gurugram on PPP mode.

Transport services are being provided with better infrastructure

The Chief Minister said that Haryana’s transport service is one of the best transport services in the country. The State Government is committed to providing safe, secure, economical and reliable transport facilities to commuters.

He said that the State Government is already providing better transportation services to passengers across the State. Various bus stands across the state are being renovated with better infrastructure and with state-of-the-art facilities on similar lines to the airport; the bus stand in Haryana is now being called bus ports, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

Bus port will be equipped with state-of-the-art service

Congratulating the residents of NIT Faridabad area, the Chief Minister said that in the time of 1980, he had started his social life in Faridabad. At that time there was a lack of good transport services. Understanding the problem of the common man, he then had apprised Dr. Mangal Sen ji about the situation of the NIT Bus Stand, Faridabad and today the dream of renovating this bus stand with state-of-the-art facilities has come true, said the Chief Minister.

As a gesture of tribute to him, from today this newly constructed Bus Port will be known as Dr. Mangal Sen Bus Port, NIT Faridabad, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that the bus port of Faridabad NIT would be connected through the Integrated Consolidated Command Centre. Along with this, the passengers will be able to avail of facilities like online ticket booking and the current status of the bus.

Dr. Mangal Sen Bus Port, NIT Faridabad to be developed as Interstate Bus Port

Sh. Manohar Lal said that this state-of-the-art bus port would certainly provide better transport service to the common man. He said that Faridabad NIT Bus Stand is being developed as an interstate bus port. Apart from catering to the needs of the people of the nearby villages, this bus stand will also benefit the commuters travelling to and from the cities of Delhi, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The government is now constructing bus ports while focusing on better management along with ensuring state-of-the-art services for the commuters, said the Chief Minister.

The profit graph of roadways has been increased

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state transport is effectively fulfilling its responsibility of providing safe travel. In the earlier years, when more than 200 accidents were reported because of roadways buses, last year only 79 road accidents have been reported.

He said that along with curbing road accidents, now the profit per kilometer of roadways has also increased. Now the profit of state transport buses has increased from Rs. 27.5 per kilometer to Rs. 39.

Transport Minister expresses gratitude to the Chief Minister

The Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing a bus port equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. He shared that the construction of this bus port has been done in PPP mode. An air-conditioned gallery has been made for the passengers and a provision for comfortable chairs has also been made.

He said that modern toilets and drinking ROs would be provided for the convenience of the passengers going to their destinations. The facility of cold water, cloakroom, refreshments etc. will be available for keeping luggage and the bus port will be under CCTV camera surveillance. Apart from this, arrangements have also been made to park about 1000 vehicles in the basement for parking the vehicles of the passengers, he added.

Sh. Mool Chand Sharma said that after the formation of Haryana, there was a shortage of buses in the state in the past, but Chief Minister during his tenure has increased the number of buses fulfilling the requirement of 5300 buses.

He said that the Chief Minister has recently approved the purchase of 1300 new buses in the High Power Committee and has taken a commendable decision to provide the number of buses as per the need of the passengers.

On this occasion MLA, Badkhal Smt. Seema Trikha, MLA Faridabad, Sh. Narender Gupta, MLA Tigaon, Sh. Rajesh Nagar, MLA, Prithla Sh.  Nayan Pal Rawat and officials were present.

Central Govt should issue directions to the financial institutions for the immediate blocking of bank accounts during holidays in case, cybercrime is reported on those days, demands Chief Minister

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while speaking during the second day of the ongoing Chintan Shivir being held in Surajkund said that Central Government should issue directions to the financial institutions for immediate blocking of bank accounts during the holidays in case, cyber crime is reported on those days.He said that sometimes when any person reports cyber crime, immediate action is not done because of weekends or public holidays, therefore to keep a check on such crimes, the banking system should remain active round the clock throughout the entire week.At present, the victims have to suffer financial losses because of the non-blocking of bank accounts in spite of getting timely information during holidays, said Sh. Manohar Lal while sharing his views on the topic of cybercrime discussed during the first session of the ongoing two-day Chintan Shivir.Meanwhile, the second day of Chintan Shivir started with the address of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi through video conference. A two-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ is being held under the chairmanship of the Union Home Minister at Surajkund. Governors, Chief Ministers, Home Ministers, Director General of Police and other delegates of the various States are participating in important discussions on law and order and internal security of the country. After the Prime Minister’s address, the topic of cybercrime was discussed in the first session of the Shivir.Later in his address, Sh. Manohar Lal said that in the era of information technology, the cases of cyber crimes have also increased. Moving ahead in this direction, cyber desks have been set up in every police station. As many as 29 new cyber police stations are being opened across the State.  Besides this, we are also running several awareness camps to make people aware of cyber crimes through helpline number 1930 and cybercrime.gov.in portal, shared the Chief Minister.He further shared that about 46,000 complaints related to cybercrime have been received in the state, in which 22,000 cases have been resolved and justice has been delivered to the victims while taking strict action against the criminals. The Chief Minister also demanded to expand the scope of investigation of complaints in cyber crimes by amending Section 70 of the IT Act.He further informed that 10 centres have been opened in the state for the Central Police Forces and work is in progress to set up three new centres. The State Government is also ready to provide land for setting up additional training or group centres for central police forces, shared Sh. Manohar Lal.Divulging the details about the police Modernization Fund, the Chief Minister shared that the Haryana Government has made full use of this fund and with time, the State should be included in the ‘A category state’ for the fund for additional resources. Along with this, the Centre should also give a special package for the modernization of the Haryana Police and necessary resources, demanded Sh. Manohar Lal.He said that the security agency in the state is constantly working to keep a check on drug smuggling. Commendable work has been done in collaboration with other adjoining states to stop smuggling through neighbouring countries. Along with putting the criminals involved in drug smuggling behind the bars, the work of punishing them financially is also being done. The CCTNS project has also been implemented in Haryana. Now a multilingual mobile app will also be ready for this, shared the Chief Minister.He further shared that to prevent crimes against women, 33 new police stations and 239 help desks have been set up at the sub-division levels in the state. Free legal aid is also being provided to women. Along with this, the women’s helpline has also been integrated with Dial-112, added Sh. Manohar Lal.The dignitaries present there carefully listened to the address of the Chief Minister and praised the commendable work done in Haryana.

Junior Engineer gets 4-year jail for corruption

The Court of Additional District Session Judge, Yamunanagar Jagadhari has convicted a Junior Engineer in a corruption case and sentenced him 4-years’ imprisonment along with fine.

Sharing the information here today, a spokesperson of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau said that the court has sentenced the imprisonment of 3-years along with Rs 10,000 fine to Bharat Joon posted as Junior Engineer in Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act and 4-years imprisonment with fine of Rs 15,000 under section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act in a case registered against him in Bureau’s Panchkula Police Station in the year 2018.

Haryana Police razes illegal property of drug peddler in Sirsa

In a crackdown against people involved in drug trade, Haryana Police has demolished an illegal house built by a drug peddler on panchayat land in Sirsa district.

Sharing the information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that a joint team of police and civil administration demolished the illegal construction raised by drug peddler Nirmal Singh, a resident of village Ganga in Sirsa by rolling bulldozer on the premises.

Nirmal had built a house on illegally occupying about 200 yards of Panchayati land, which was demolished with the help of local administration.

He informed that three cases were registered against him in Sadar Dabwali police station under the NDPS Act while one case under the Excise Act. Apart from this, a case under NDPS Act is also registered against him at Gidderbaha police station of Punjab State. Presently, he is lodged in District Jail Sirsa.

Police is taking stern action against miscreants and drug traffickers and in the last few days several properties acquired through ill-gotten means by such elements have been demolished. Such action on drug peddlers and other miscreants will continue in future also, he added.

Mohali Ayaan shines in U-14 school cricket tournament

Ayaan Srivastava while leading YPS Mohali cricket team in under 14 Indian Public School Conference (IPSC) tournament at Pune recently played  a crucial part in YPS win in tournament while shining with both bat and ball.  

Due to his sterling all-rounder performance, he was named player of the tournament. Ayaan was in fact man of the match in three consecutive matches from quarter final to final and scored 145 runs and took 6 wickets in the tournament.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT’S INITIATIVE TO USE PLASTIC IN ROADS CONSTRUCTION

Under the leadership of the Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann, following the efforts of the Punjab government to ensure the disposal of plastic waste and its use in development works, Bathinda Municipal Corporation started the work of constructing roads from plastic waste in a unique initiative.

Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, while giving this information, said that with the introduction of the use of plastic in road construction by the Municipal Corporation Bathinda staff, an effective solution to plastic waste has also been found and the cost will also be reduced. He said that Jujhar Singh Nagar Road at Bathinda from Bajwa House to Main Street and street no. 3- A road has been constructed using plastic waste at Jujhar Singh Nagar. Apart from this, the road has been constructed using plastic at street number 3 B Jujhar Singh Nagar.He said that 1000 running feet long road has been constructed using 8 percent plastic waste in bitumen.

Local Government Minister said that by using plastic for the construction of roads, there will be success in solving the problem of plastic waste, which will make the environment clean and pollution free.

 He said that by using plastic for construction of roads, the roads will be made of better quality than before. Along with this, the cost of road construction will also reduce. He said that its immediate results are satisfactory. Soon in other committees/corporations will also use plastic for road construction, he added.

State treasury to be richer by identifying 90248 deceased beneficiaries: Dr. Baljit Kaur

          On the directions of Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department of Punjab Dr. Baljit kaur, department has conducted a survey and identified 90,248 deceased beneficiaries of various pension schemes. With this step, state treasury will be richer by 13.53 crore per month.

          Divulging the detail, Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that a survey of 30.46 lakh beneficiaries of Punjab has been conducted. On completion of this survey, 90248 deceased beneficiaries have been identified.By identifying the deceased beneficiaries, Punjab government will save 13.53 crore per month and 162.36 crore annually.

The Minister said that with the identification of 90,248 deceased beneficiaries, financial loss of the government has stopped as well as the amount will be spent to help other needy people.

The Cabinet Minister said that the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) scheme will be implemented to pay the pension to the beneficiaries. The pension will be disbursed to the beneficiaries through business correspondence deployed by bank.

          To implement the scheme, first two pilot projects will be started soon in district Sangrur and Sri Muktsar Sahib.
