Aapda Mitra will be made in all the villages of the state – Dushyant Chautala

 Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that ‘Aapda Mitra’ will be made in all the villages of the state, who would work as volunteers in times of disaster, soon a portal will be started to register them.This information was given by the Deputy CM, who also holds the charge of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, after attending the meeting of the Ministers of Disaster Management Department of all the states and UTs, chaired by Union Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah, in New Delhi today.Additional Chief Secretary of Disaster Management Department, Sh. Rajesh Khullar also participated in the meeting along with the Deputy Chief Minister.While interacting with the media after the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister said that in the year 2014, the central government had sent a manual related to disaster management to all the states, It addressed a number of issues, many of which the Haryana government has already addressed, the rest will be finished by December 2023. He informed that committees of the State Disaster Management Board will be constituted at district and village level.He informed that Rs. 1,100 crores has been sanctioned this year to provide relief in times of possible calamities like flood and drought, while provision of Rs. 500 crores and Rs. 300 crores was made per year respectively in previous years. He informed that plans are being made to drain the areas where water gets filled due to rain and to pour water into canals etc., so that neither crops nor other lives and property are harmed.Sh. Dushyant Chautala informed that the state government is being alerted by sending messages through mobile etc. before a possible disaster. This year also messages related to heavy rains, strong storms etc. have been sent to the people of the state in advance.He informed that the Central Government has informed today that technology has been invented to predict fire due to lightning, Haryana government is also going to implement this technology soon in the state, due to which loss of life and property will be avoided.He informed that in today’s meeting, the Home Minister has been requested by the State Government to set up a battalion of the National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) in Hisar so that help can reach immediately in case of any disaster. Haryana Government has also given training to 260 IRB jawans of National Disaster Response Force.Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that he requested the Central Government to set up a joint command centre for Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh in Chandigarh so that the forecast of the upcoming earthquake in the Kangra-seismic belt could be made. He has also requested the Central Government to include the subject related to disaster management in school and university curriculum under the new National Education Policy.

CM unveils Punjab Vision Document 2047’

 Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday unveiled Punjab Vision Document 2047’ and described as a roadmap for a progressive and prosperous state. Releasing the document in a simple but impressive function here at his office, the Chief Minister underlined the urgent need to rejuvenate economy and fiscal health of the state. He said that this document envisages holistic development of the state when India completes 100th year of independence. Bhagwant Mann said that this document consists of nine departmentalized sections and 16 socio-economic indicator-based sub-sections focusing on the current status, major challenges that the State is facing and envisages short-term and long-term strategies to overcome these challenges. The Chief Minister said that as per document a rate of growth of the economy at 7.5 per cent p.a. by 2030 and 10 per cent by 2047 will be achieved. He said that the document also aims at bringing the investment-GSDP ratio to 25 per cent by 2030 and restoring the investment-GSDP ratio of Punjab to 32 per cent by 2047 by improving the investment climate in the State and initiating the economic governance reforms for time-bound and hassle-free clearance of industrial projects. Likewise, Bhagwant Mann said that service sector/ sunrise services like information technology-enabled services (ITES), including BPO, online education, social media and entertainment will be developed and application of digital technologies in the service sector will also be incentivized. The Chief Minister said that generation of decent jobs by boosting investment in all sectors and building a synergy between industry and educational institutions to improve employability and startup ecosystems will also be ensured through this document. He asserted that for improving the fiscal health of the economy, the suitable strategy is prudent fiscal management. Bhagwant Mann said that targets and strategies for different identified sectors have been framed keeping in mind the requirements of the State. The Chief Minister said that the core sectors include economy, finances, industry, employment, agriculture, rural development, sustainable cities and communities, infrastructure, inclusive and equitable education, health infrastructure and provisioning, achieving gender equality, natural resources, affordable and clean energy, climate action and natural resource conservation, technological advancements, governance, safety and security and intelligent traffic management system. He said that the broader aim of this document is to cater to well-being of citizens for a dignified living. Bhagwant Mann asserted that the spirit of this vision is to eradicate poverty and hunger, ensure livelihood and shelter, provision of equitable and quality education and health facilities to all, adequate sanitation network and availability of electricity. The Chief Minister said that these targets will be achieved with the aim to remove geographical and social disparities adding that this vision document aims at converging efforts of different administrative departments and agencies to achieve identified targets. He expressed hope that this document will bring greater synergies of action at every level of governance in larger public interest. Bhagwant Mann said that to achieve the targets highlighted in the document, the state government has already taken some prudent steps at different levels of administration. The Chief Minister said that the state government strives to achieve the targets set in this document by the year 2030 and 2047 respectively. He said that the state Government will put in all possible efforts and resources to achieve the targets proposed in the vision document. Bhagwant Mann envisioned that the document will put the state further on the trajectory of High economic growth thereby giving major fillip to progress of Punjab and prosperity of its people.  

Haryana Chief Minister announces bonanza for Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan awardees of the State*

While announcing bonanza for Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan awardees of the State , Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today  announced a monthly pension of Rs. 10,000 for the awardees besides free travel facility in Volvo Buses of the State Government.The Chief Minister made this announcement during his visit to Karnal on Monday.Interacting with the media persons, the Chief Minister said that most of the colonies of Karnal have been developed on Shamlat land adding that  this  problem would be resolved at the earliest. For this, “I will soon convene a meeting of  concerned officers to resolve this problem and give ownership rights to  the residents of Karnal “, he asserted.The Chief Minister  said that during the two-day Jan Samvad Programme in Karnal, people put forth  several issues before him and most of them were resolved on the spot. He informed that the state government had organized two-day camps to resolve complaints related to property ID. During the camp 1,988 complaints were received, out of which 50 per cent complaints have been resolved on the spot. Remaining complaints would be resolved within five days, said the Chief Minister. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that government officers and employees should work with the spirit of public service. He said  that while taking stern action on the complaints of misbehaviour by the  police personnel’s, directions have been given to suspend Manoj, SHO of Karnal Police Station Sadar. Apart from this, Karnal City SHO, Kamaldeep Rana  and ASI Mahavir of Sadar police station has been transferred to Narnaul. In reply  to another query , Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that writer Manoj Muntashir and his team had met him and sought some assistance regarding the  film ‘Adipurush’. The film is releasing on June 16, before which a decision will be taken after due  consideration, he added

All the necessary facilities for the industries should be ensured within stipulated time: Dushyant Chautala

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the officers that all the necessary facilities for setting up industries in the industrial areas should be completed within the prescribed time limit. He added that strict action will be taken against the officers taking lax officers.The Deputy CM was presiding over a joint meeting of representatives of industrialists’ associations of Hisar and Rohtak and senior officers of the departments of Industries, Power, Environment, Haryana Urban Development Authority etc. at his office here today. Labour Minister, Sh. Anoop Dhanak was also present on the occasion.The Deputy Chief Minister had recently visited Hisar and Rohtak in which the industrialists highlighted several issues and demanded early resolution. Taking immediate cognizance, the Deputy CM called a meeting of the concerned officers as soon as he came to Chandigarh, and also called the industrialists’ associations of both districts. The proposed works, which had been approved and could not be started due to the laziness of the concerned officer. He said that strict departmental action will be taken in case of any delay.Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed to set up a police post and fire station in Sector 27-28 industrial area of Hisar soon. He directed the officers to complete the process of handing over these sectors to the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) by the Haryana Urban Development Authority and solve various problems of roads, water supply, sewerage, rain water stagnation etc. there. He also directed to start Quality Marking Centre and Community Centre near these industrial areas.The Deputy Chief Minister resolved the problems put forth by the “IDC Industries Association” of Rohtak, such as removal of the high tension power line from the industrial area and the parameters of the CETP set up by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, etc.On this occasion, he said that he is committed to solving the problems of the state’s citizens on priority. CM inaugurates 10 faceless services of HSVP

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while inaugurating 10 faceless services of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) said that these services of HSVP are another important step towards digital empowerment.He said that it will prove to be a milestone towards providing accessible and user friendly services to the citizens of Haryana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched a brochure of faceless services. Sh. Manohar Lal said that the objective of HSVP is to provide transparent and citizen centric services through technology and contribute to the overall development and welfare of the State. Allottees can now avail HSVP services from anywhere without any hassle of visiting the Estate Office. The online platform is accessible 24X7, allowing citizens to easily submit their applications and access services at their convenience.The Chief Minister said that the user-friendly interface of the online system ensures a smooth and hassle-free experience to the users, simplifies the application process and enables citizens to navigate easily through the various services provided by the HSVP. He said that faceless service will increase transparency as applicants can track the status of their applications and get updates online. Furthermore, the system’s faceless service promotes fairness in the allocation process.He said that the launch of faceless service will provide many benefits to the citizens of Haryana and allottees can now apply for various services at the ease of home. Such as Transfer Permission Letter, No-Dues Certificate, Non-Encumbrance Certificate, Independent Floor-Transfer Permission Letter, Mortgage Permission Letter, Independent Floor Re-allotment Letter, De-Mortgage Permission Letter, Cancellation of Transfer Permission, Allotment Letter (E-Auction) and the facilities of re-allotment letter will be provided.On this occasion, Sh. Manohar Lal flagged off the van of HSVP. This van will go to every sector of HSVP and make people aware about the schemes being offered by HSVP. The Chief Minister was apprised in the meeting that last year 62,000 people have availed these services through manual means. But now the benefit of all these services will be available through online medium only. User has to login to the allottee corner to avail these services. The users can login through the launch video on the website of HSVP guiding them on how to avail the services.Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh.  Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Foreign Service Department has been constituted in the state, which is assisting in providing employment opportunities to the youth of the state. Apart from this, new initiatives are being taken to raise the standard of living of the citizens of the state and make them economically empowered. The Chief Minister was meeting Indian Foreign Service officers here today. The Chief Minister said that effective steps are being taken to promote industry, trade and tourism in the state so that maximum employment opportunities can be created for the youth of the state. He said that Haryana started ambitious schemes like Parivar Pehchan Patra, Property ID etc. These schemes are being followed and appreciated in other states as well. Apart from this, the government is making tireless efforts to increase the annual income of such families which are below Rs. 1.80 lakhs. The Chief Minister said that e-tendering process has been started to get development works done in panchayats. Positive results are coming out of this process. This initiative is eliminating corruption and ensuring transparency in rural development. Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority have been constituted to beautify the ponds of the state. Through this, work is being done to rejuvenate all the ponds across the state. The Chief Minister said that Mera Pani-Meri Virasat Yojana has been implemented for water conservation. Farmers are being encouraged to adopt crop diversification and reduce the yield of paddy. Apart from this, special focus is being laid on Aspiration District Mewat so that people can be benefited to the maximum. It is worth mentioning that a team of IFS officers is on a tour of the state for five days to get information about public welfare and developmental schemes of the government. These include Sh. Prem Chand, First Secretary, Embassy of Abu Dhabi, 1995 batch, Sh. Manoj Sharma, First Secretary, Embassy of India, 1995 batch,Shr. Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, 1997 batch. The officers will gather detailed information regarding social and economic development including health, nutrition and financial inclusion. Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Devender Balbi expressed gratitude towards the central and state government for the work of strengthening and widening of NH 148B

Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli said that several villages of Haryana and Punjab will be greatly benefited by strengthening and widening National Highway 148B. For this, tenders have been allotted by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and its construction work will begin in the month of August 2023.         Cabinet Minister, Sh. Babli expressed gratitude towards the State Government and the Central Government for this initiative. He informed that he personally met the Union Minister, Sh. Nitin Gadkari in this regard. Through this route, three assembly constituencies of the district along with many villages of Tohana constituency will be benefited, he added.        The Development and Panchayats Minister informed that the 10 meter road will be widened and strengthened from Haryana’s Tohana to Punjab’s border up to 30.14 km. Along with this, Jakhal’s Chandigarh road, which is 1800 meters long, will also be included. He added that the said road will be paved, strengthened and widened. About Rs. 111.14 crores will be spent on this work. 

Beautification of 1400 ponds has been done under Amrit Sarovar scheme in the state

 Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that due to significant changes made in industrial policies, the state was able to attract an investment of Rs. 35,000 crores. He said that today Maruti-Suzuki is setting up its new plant at Kharkhoda IMT, which will provide employment to more than 15,000 youth.        The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing the Vijay Sankalp public meeting organized at Kharkhoda. He said that the Maruti-Suzuki plant being established at Kharkhoda IMT will bring industrial and employment revolution in this area. He said that Kharkhoda is moving forward to establish its own identity like Gurugram in the coming times.        He said that Maruti is expediting its work to set up its plant in stipulated time. With the launch of Maruti, many more companies will be established in this area, which will give impetus to the industrial development. 75 percent reservation was given to the youth of Haryana in local private jobs, so that our youth do not have to go to other states for employment.        The Deputy Chief Minister said that in the previous governments, when farmers’ crops were damaged due to natural calamities, the farmers had to wait for more than two years for the compensation to come, but within 30 days, the present government paid Rs. 181 crores into the farmers’ bank account.  Today, 1000 e-libraries have been opened by the government in the state to empower rural youth. Apart from this, community centres are being built in the villages so that the people of the villages can organise social functions in those centres. He said that today drinking water arrangements are made in every village of the state, construction of stadiums for children to play, paved streets and roads in villages are being made by the government, so that rural development can also be encouraged.        The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government started the Amrit Sarovar scheme to beautify the ponds, under which more than 1400 ponds have been beautified in the state so far. Under this scheme, the government has set a target to beautify 8,000 ponds in the state, which will be completed very soon.

Doctor, Peon held for taking Rs15,000 bribe for enhancing disability percentage

Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has caught a Peon posted in Civil Hospital, Rewari red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 15,000 in lieu of enhancing the disability percentage.The accused Peon engaged on an outsourced basis was demanding bribe on behalf of a Medical Officer who has also been arrested.Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the ACB said that arrested accused have been identified as Dr Sahil Yadav Medical Officer and Rahul, Peon. Both the accused have been nabbed on the complaint of Amit Kumar, a resident of district Rewari.Giving further details, he said that the complainant has approached the ACB and alleged that accused Rahul posted as Peon in Civil Hospital Rewari was demanding Rs. 20,000 as a bribe from the complainant in lieu of enhancing the disability percentage of his mother from 50 % to 65 %. The accused Peon was demanding bribe on behalf of Medical Officer and had already taken Rs 5,000 for the same.After verifying the complaint, an ACB team laid a trap and arrested the accused Peon red-handed while accepting Rs 15,000 as a bribe from the complainant. Later, the team also arrested the Medical Officer.In this regard, a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against both accused at ACB police station Gurugram. Further investigation was under progress.Patwari nabbed for demanding Rs 30,000 bribeEarlier, in a separate case, a team of ACB arrested a Halqa Patwari posted at Tharwa Majri in Ambala district on the charges of demanding illegal gratification of Rs 30,000 in lieu of getting mutation done of property in the name of complainant and his family members. Accused Patwari Charanjit Singh was arrested on the basis of audio record evidence. The complainant had recorded the conversation on his cell phone while the accused patwari was demanding this bribe. 

Registration process of 208 acre of land for AIIMS, Rewari completed

Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal said that the registration process of 208 acre of land for AIIMS, Rewari has been completed, while Pt. Neki Ram Sharma, Government Medical College, Bhiwani being constructed at the cost of Rs. 535.55 crore is likely to be completed by December this year.Mr. Kaushal gave this information while participating in a virtual meeting convened by Advisor to Prime Minister, Mr. Amit Khare here today.The Chief Secretary further said that the state government has requested the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to take possession of the land to set up AIIMS, Rewari.Mr. Kaushal further said that Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has informed that HITES has been appointed as Executing Agency for taking up pre- investment activities at the site for setting up of new AIIMS. The construction work will be undertaken by the Executing Agency selected by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.Mr. Kaushal  said that the work  of Pt. Neki Ram Sharma, GMC is in progress and 65 % has been completed till date. He further said that the Bhiwani Medical College is being established under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Establishment of new medical colleges attached with existing/referral hospitals” under Phase-I which existing District Hospital to be upgraded into a Medical College wherein funding will be shared between Centre to State Government at 60:40 ratio. The process for purchasing the equipments for medical colleges has been already initiated. The funds amounting to Rs.277.55 Crore has been released till the date. He urged the central government to release the balance funds of Rs. 207.93 crore at the earliest.
