Building on a successful first season, Highland Group has continued its partnership with Indian Premier League(IPL) cricket team Punjab Kings as the official real estate partner for IPL 2026—The announcement of continuation of partnership and its further reinforcement, was made during a press conference here, which was addressed by Highland Group’s Directors Vishal Goyal and Harjinder Singh Rangi, who were joined by Satish Menon, CEO of Punjab Kings.
The group also unveiled ‘The Address of Kings’ campaign, which will bring leading lifestyle and sports creators to experience Highland’s projects before exclusive match-day interactions with players like Shreyas Iyer and Arshdeep Singh during IPL 2026. Details of the group’s upcoming project Highland Mayfields were also shared.

The highlight of the press conference was a peek given to media into Highland Group’s flagship project, Highland Mayfields, which is being positioned as a sports-centric residential development. The event also witnessed the formal launch of a high octane ‘anthem’ specially created by Highland Group for Punjab Kings.
Goyal emphasized that sports, particularly cricket, are deeply embedded in the philosophy of their flagship project, Highland Mayfields.

पंजाब में नशे के खिलाफ जारी जंग में अब अखिल भारतीय गुर्जर महासभा ने भी अपनी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने का ऐलान किया है। संगठन पूरे राज्य में युवाओं को नशे के खिलाफ जागरूक करने के लिए ‘नशा मुक्ति यात्राएं’ निकालेगा। इस अभियान की शुरुआत औद्योगिक शहर लुधियाना से की जाएगी। यह अहम फैसला चंडीगढ़ में आयोजित अखिल भारतीय गुर्जर महासभा की पंजाब कार्यकारिणी की बैठक में लिया गया। इस मौके पर संगठन के राष्ट्रीय संगठन मंत्री बच्चू सिंह बैंसला विशेष तौर पर उपस्थित रहे। बैठक के दौरान सर्वसम्मति से कमलदेव चौहान को संगठन की पंजाब इकाई का प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया और उन्हें इस पूरे अभियान की कमान सौंपी गई।
राज्यपाल की मुहिम से जुड़ने का ऐलान
नवनियुक्त प्रदेश प्रधान कमलदेव चौहान ने कार्यभार संभालने के बाद स्पष्ट किया कि गुर्जर समाज का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को नशे के दुष्प्रभावों से बचाकर उन्हें एक सकारात्मक दिशा देना है। उन्होंने बताया कि पंजाब के राज्यपाल गुलाब चंद कटारिया पिछले कुछ समय से प्रदेश के सीमावर्ती जिलों सहित पूरे राज्य में ‘नशा मुक्त पंजाब’ के लिए लगातार पदयात्राएं कर रहे हैं। गुर्जर समाज भी राज्यपाल की इस मुहिम में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाएगा और कदम से कदम मिलाकर चलेगा। संगठन की ओर से इस अभियान की रूपरेखा और सभी तैयारियां पूरी कर ली गई हैं। इसके साथ ही, इस पूरे प्रयास और आगामी यात्राओं के विषय में राज्यपाल को भी विस्तृत जानकारी दे दी गई है। चौहान ने कहा कि यदि पंजाब को फिर से विकास और प्रगति के रास्ते पर ले जाना है, तो सबसे पहले नशा मुक्ति को ही प्राथमिकता देनी होगी।
2027 के चुनावों पर नजर, गांव-गांव करेंगे प्रचार
सामाजिक जागरूकता के साथ-साथ गुर्जर समाज ने पंजाब की राजनीति में भी अपनी मजबूत दावेदारी पेश की है। महासभा के नेताओं ने दावा किया है कि पंजाब में गुर्जर समाज की आबादी लगभग 9 प्रतिशत है, जो एक बड़ा वोट बैंक है। यह समुदाय 2027 के आगामी पंजाब विधानसभा चुनावों में निर्णायक भूमिका निभाने की तैयारी कर रहा है। प्रदेश अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि अब समाज के नेता और कार्यकर्ता गांव-गांव जाकर अपने लोगों को एकजुट करेंगे। चुनाव के समय संगठन अपनी पूरी ताकत दिखाएगा और जिस भी पार्टी या प्रतिनिधि का समर्थन करेगा, उसका खुलेआम मंच से ऐलान किया जाएगा। संगठन का मानना है कि नशे से मुक्त होकर ही युवा सही मायने में आत्मनिर्भर बन पाएंगे और समाज के साथ-साथ प्रदेश के राजनीतिक व आर्थिक विकास में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकेंगे।
In a deeply moving tribute to the spirit of humanity and compassion, 16 brave-heart donor families were honoured at PGIMER for their extraordinary decision to consent to organ donation in the midst of their personal tragedy—an act that has impacted 80 lives, including giving a second lease of life to 52 patients suffering from end-stage organ failure and restoring sight to 28 corneal blind patients through organ and tissue transplantation at PGIMER.
The tribute ceremony was held during the inaugural session of SAMARTHAN 2026, a CME-cum-Workshop on Organ Donation and Transplantation organised by ROTTO North, PGIMER Chandigarh, which witnessed participation by over 200 delegates from the medical fraternity and civil society across the region.
The emotional felicitation saw the entire auditorium rise in a standing ovation, acknowledging the extraordinary courage and generosity of the donor families whose selfless decision transformed personal grief into a gift of life for dozens of patients awaiting transplants.
Paying rich tributes to the donor families, Prof. Vivek Lal, Director PGIMER, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, said,“PGIMER owes its distinct place in organ transplantation to all the donor families. It would not have been possible to reach this far without the courageous decisions and selfless gestures of these families. There is no metric to measure such a magnanimous gift of life. It is deeply gratifying that the donor families trusted PGIMER with their noblest wish to save others’ lives and that the institute could live up to that trust.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anil Kumar, Director, National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation, New Delhi, who attended as Guest of Honour, said that the only sustainable way to bridge the gap between organ availability and requirement is to create a culture of voluntary deceased organ donation. He emphasised that when society empathizes with patients waiting for organs and pledges for organ donation, countless lives can be saved. He also reiterated NOTTO’s commitment to strengthening awareness initiatives and engaging students as young ambassadors of change.
Lauding the spirit of generosity in the region, Dr. Amarjeet Kaur, Senior Regional Director, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Chandigarh, highlighted that the spirit behind organising Samarthan 2026 is to disseminate correct information and further strengthen the movement for organ donation . She noted that nothing can be more motivating than the presence of brave-heart donor families, whose courageous decisions amidst immense grief inspire hope for thousands of patients waiting for life-saving transplants.
The brave-heart families honoured on the occasion included those of Sukhwinder Singh, 40 years, from Sunam, Sangrur; Jatinder Singh, 36 years, from Fatehgarh Sahib; Ravinder Singh, 36 years, from Chandigarh; Harpreet Kaur, 17 years, from Bassi Pathana; Navneet Thakur, 23 years, from Kangra; Major Singh, 54 years, from Rajpura, Patiala; Parveen Kumar, 44 years, from Panchkula; Naresh Kumar, 30 years, from Kaithal; and Raveesh Kunwar Malik, 36 years, from Zirakpur.
Also honoured were the families of Harpinder Singh, 40 years, from Anandpur Sahib; Gurnoor Singh, 18 years, from Ludhiana; and Davinder Singh, 36 years, from Ropar. Additionally, the families of Arshdeep Singh, 18 years; Balwinder Singh, 56 years; Pyar Chand, 44 years; and Biswanath Saw, 44 years from the Indian Army were also honoured for their inspiring contribution.
Earlier, setting the context, Prof. Vipin Koushal, Medical Superintendent PGIMER, Head Department of Hospital Administration and Nodal Officer ROTTO North, stated that the objective of organising Samarthan 2026 is to build further impetus to ROTTO North’s agenda on organ donation while highlighting the critical enablers and coordinated institutional efforts that make organ donation and transplantation possible.
The inaugural session was followed by an academic workshop featuring eminent clinicians and experts, who deliberated on multiple facets of organ transplantation. The sessions focused on strengthening deceased organ donation programmes, improving coordination mechanisms and promoting awareness, leading to engaging discussions and meaningful knowledge exchange among participants.
With 329 research papers published during last one year on display, 35 researchers winning awards in the surgical, medical, and basic sciences fields for ‘Research publications’ and 59 researchers being awarded in the ‘Innovations’ category for their exemplary and credible research work, PGIMER’s 12th Annual Research Day, the big ticket medical research showcase, concluded on an upbeat note here at PGIMER today.
Addressing the gathering as Chief Guest, Prof. Nikhil Tandon, Dean, AIIMS New Delhi, praised the depth, diversity and quality of research being carried out at PGIMER as he stated, ““After going through the scope and breadth of research being carried out at PGIMER, I can say with confidence that the quality of work being done here is truly exceptional. The scientific community in this institution clearly understands what needs to be done to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care.”
Prof. Tandon delivered a special address titled “Wearing Two Hats: Doctor’s Dilemma,” where he reflected on the complex responsibilities faced by clinician-scientists.“Most medical professionals in India wear two hats—one of providing patient care and the other of pursuing research. Balancing these responsibilities is not easy, but it is essential if we want to improve healthcare and generate meaningful scientific knowledge.”
“Research is never a short journey. It demands patience—sometimes over years or even decades—before its real impact becomes visible. The work we do today may not transform healthcare immediately, but with commitment and rigour it eventually contributes to knowledge that benefits society, ” as Prof. Tandon spoke about the nature of scientific discovery, emphasizing that impactful research requires patience and sustained effort.
The Chief Guest also highlighted the importance of mentorship and collaborative academic environments as he stated, “Great research rarely happens in isolation. Institutions that nurture mentorship, collaboration and a critical mass of researchers create an environment where ideas flourish and innovation becomes possible.”
Underscoring the true purpose of scientific inquiry, Prof. Tandon concluded, “The most sustainable motivation for research is genuine curiosity and the desire to improve patient care. Publications and recognition may follow, but they should never be the sole driving force. Research must remain connected to real health challenges so that the knowledge we generate ultimately improves outcomes for our patients and communities.”
Earlier, Prof. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, welcoming the Chief Guest, highlighted the institute’s strong culture of scientific inquiry and research excellence as he stated, “Despite the enormous clinical workload handled by the institute, PGIMER stands on a very high pedestal when it comes to patient care. With an annual patient footfall of nearly 40 lakh, our clinicians remain deeply engaged in delivering healthcare services. Yet, despite this tremendous pressure, our faculty, residents and healthcare professionals continue to pursue high-quality research with remarkable dedication.”
Describing the Annual Research Day as the “Diwali of research” at PGIMER, Prof. Lal said, “Research Day is when the entire scientific effort of the institute comes together. It reminds us that beyond the intense demands of patient care, there is an equally strong commitment among our faculty and residents to push the frontiers of knowledge.”
Director PGIMER also stressed the need for deeper collaboration between leading medical institutions in the country when he stated, “We are now moving towards a research colloquium between PGIMER and AIIMS because the future of science lies in collaboration. Instead of working in silos on similar problems, we must sit together, pool our ideas and resources, and produce research that can have a stronger global impact.”
Prof. Lal further acknowledged the contributions of the institute’s founding leaders whose commitment to academic excellence continues to inspire generations of researchers at PGIMER.
Highlighting the institute’s research achievements, Prof. Sanjay Jain, Dean (Research), presented the annual research overview stating, “Over the past year alone, our institute initiated 250 externally funded research projects through agencies such as ICMR, DBT, DST and CSIR, securing nearly ₹140 crore in grants. These numbers are not just statistics—they represent hundreds of questions being explored and solutions being sought to improve patient care.”
Prof. Jain further highlighted, “This year we are showcasing 329 research papers published in national and international journals, along with 59 innovations currently in the pipeline, seven of which have already been granted patents. Each of these represents the dedication of our faculty and young researchers striving to translate ideas into meaningful healthcare solutions.”
The academic extravaganza began with poster viewing from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the area adjoining the NINE Auditorium, where a wide spectrum of research undertaken at PGIMER was displayed. The posters showcased studies conducted and published between April 2025 and March 2026, reflecting the institute’s vibrant research ecosystem and strong interdisciplinary collaborations.
Awards were presented across several categories including medical specialties, surgical specialties, pre- and para-clinical sciences, senior residents, PhD scholars and systematic reviews, recognising outstanding contributions from faculty members and young investigators.
In the Medical Specialties – Professors category, Dr Ajay Duseja from the Department of Hepatology secured the First Prize, followed by Dr Sonu Goel from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, who received the Second Prize. The Third Prize was awarded to Dr Ravindra Khaiwal, also from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, for his significant research contribution.
In the Medical Specialties – Additional Professors category, Dr Madhumita Premkumar from the Department of Hepatology was awarded the First Prize, while Dr Pankaj Gupta from the Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging secured the Second Prize. Dr Jayanta Samanta from the Department of Gastroenterology was conferred the Third Prize.
The Medical Specialties – Associate Professors category witnessed Dr Tanvi Kiran from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health being awarded the First Prize. The Second Prize was presented to Dr Bijaya Kumar Padhi, also from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, while Dr Rakesh Kumar Pilania from the Department of Paediatrics received the Third Prize.
In the Surgical Specialties – Professors category, Dr Divya Jain from the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care secured the First Prize, followed by Dr Preethy J Mathew, also from the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, who was awarded the Second Prize. The Third Prize was conferred upon Dr Jaspreet Sukhija from the Department of Ophthalmology.
Among the Surgical Specialties – Additional Professors, Dr Ankur Luthra from the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care received the First Prize. Dr Vishal Kumar from the Department of Orthopaedics secured the Second Prize, while Dr Manjul Tripathi from the Department of Neurosurgery was awarded the Third Prize.
In the Surgical Specialties – Associate Professors category, Dr Ajay Singh from the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care was awarded the First Prize. The Second Prize went to Dr Savleen Kaur from the Department of Ophthalmology, while Dr Himanshu Bhayana from the Department of Orthopaedics received the Third Prize.
In the Pre- and Para-Clinical Specialties – Professors category, Dr Shivaprakash M. Rudramurthy from the Department of Medical Microbiology secured the First Prize. Dr Neelam Taneja, also from the Department of Medical Microbiology, was awarded the Second Prize, while Dr Lekha Saha from the Department of Pharmacology received the Third Prize.
Among the Pre- and Para-Clinical Specialties – Additional Professors, Dr Amol N. Patil from the Department of Pharmacology secured the First Prize. The Second Prize was awarded to Dr Ashok Kumar Yadav from the Department of Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology, while Dr Sheetal Sharma, also from the Department of Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology, received the Third Prize.
In the Pre- and Para-Clinical Specialties – Associate Professors category, Dr Gaurav Sharma from the Department of Translational and Regenerative Medicine was awarded the First Prize. Dr Praveen Sharma from the Department of Haematology secured the Second Prize, while Dr Priya Datta from the Department of Medical Parasitology received the Third Prize.
In the Senior Resident category, Dr Pritam Halder from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health secured the First Prize, while Dr Vibhu Jain from the Department of General Surgery was awarded the Second Prize.
In the PhD Scholar / Pool Officer / Research Associate category, Divya Sharma from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health secured the First Prize, while Nimran Kaur, also from the same department, received the Second Prize.
In the Others category, Yogesh Rathore from the Department of Nuclear Medicine secured the First Prize, while Dr Ashok Kumar from the National Institute of Nursing Education was awarded the Second Prize.
In the Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis category, Dr Jogender Kumar from the Department of Pediatrics secured the First Prize, while Dr Rimesh Pal from the Department of Endocrinology was awarded the Second Prize.
A key highlight of the event was the felicitation of three distinguished PGIMER faculty members who have been honoured with the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Awards for their outstanding scientific contributions.These included Prof. Ritesh Aggarwal from the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize (2020) for his pioneering research on Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA); Prof. Jitendra Kumar Sahu from the Department of Paediatrics, who received the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Vigyan Yuva Puraskar (2024) for his work in paediatric epilepsy; and Prof. Suresh Kumar, also from the Department of Paediatrics, who received the 2025 award for his research demonstrating the life-saving potential of probiotics in critically ill children admitted to intensive care units.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. R. K. Ratho, Dean (Academic), followed by the National Anthem.

विद्या भारती उच्च शिक्षा संस्थान द्वारा आयोजित भारत बौद्धिक राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा–2026 में देशभर के शिक्षण संस्थानों के बीच देवभूमि उत्तराखंड विश्वविद्यालय, देहरादून ने एक उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि प्राप्त की है। इस राष्ट्रीय स्तर की परीक्षा में विश्वविद्यालय से सर्वाधिक 2,395 छात्र-छात्राओं ने पंजीकरण कर देशभर में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया है। यह उपलब्धि विश्वविद्यालय में भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा, बौद्धिक चेतना एवं शैक्षणिक जागरूकता का सशक्त प्रमाण है। देवभूमि उत्तराखंड विश्वविद्यालय में यह परीक्षा 31 जनवरी, 2026 को आयोजित की जाएगी। विश्वविद्यालय के परीक्षा नोडल डॉ. शुभाशीष गोस्वामी ने इस ऐतिहासिक सहभागिता पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि छात्रों की यह भागीदारी विश्वविद्यालय के सकारात्मक शैक्षणिक वातावरण, शिक्षकों के सतत मार्गदर्शन और भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा से जुड़ी शिक्षा के प्रति बढ़ते रुझान का परिणाम है। अध्यक्ष श्री संजय बंसल जी ने भारतीय ज्ञान परम्परा के अंतर्गत हो रहे विश्विद्यालय के प्रयासों पर संतुष्टि व्यक्त की। उपाध्यक्ष श्री अमन बंसल ने भारतीय ज्ञान परम्परा के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता पर जोर देते हुए इस परीक्षा में छात्रों में सहभागिता पर हर्ष व्यक्त किया। कुलपति डॉ अजय और प्रति कुलपति डॉ संदीप शर्मा ने भी विश्वविद्यालय की इस उपलब्धि पर संतुष्टि एवं हर्ष व्यक्त किया। विद्या भारती उच्च शिक्षा संस्थान, उत्तराखंड प्रांत की प्रांत मंत्री डॉ. राजकुमारी भंडारी चौहान ने विश्वविद्यालय के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि देवभूमि उत्तराखंड विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सर्वाधिक पंजीकरण किया जाना पूरे उत्तराखंड प्रांत के लिए गर्व का विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह उपलब्धि भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा को आधुनिक शिक्षा से जोड़ने की दिशा में एक प्रेरणादायी उदाहरण है। उत्तराखंड प्रांत के परीक्षा नोडल डॉ. गौरव वाष्णेय ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि देवभूमि उत्तराखंड विश्वविद्यालय की यह पहल भविष्य में अन्य शिक्षण संस्थानों को भी इस राष्ट्रीय बौद्धिक आंदोलन से जुड़ने के लिए प्रेरित करेगी।
Srinagar Garhwal: At the inaugural session of a faculty development program, Prof. Devinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B.R.A. National Law University, Sonipat, called for a fundamental shift in the education system to achieve the vision of a “Viksit Bharat.” He emphasized the urgent need for a holistic and student-centric education system that moves beyond traditional methods. In his address, Prof. Singh advocated for a clear policy to swiftly integrate underutilized qualified human resources into the formal education system at the earliest.
He stressed that this would be crucial for contributions to building a “Vishwa Guru Viksit Bharat.” Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of strengthening academia-industry linkages to ensure that educational curricula are aligned with the needs of the industry, thereby better preparing graduates for the workforce. He was stating this at the inaugural session of short-term Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the “Role of Higher Education in Viksit Bharat” today organized by Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) of H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand. In this program more than 100 higher education faculty participants from 17 different states will be trained for a week. In his message, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of H.N.B. Garhwal University, Prof Prakash Singh, lauded the MMTTC team for its continuous efforts in organizing such programs. Dr. Rahul Kunwar Singh, the Officiating Director of the MMTTC, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the evolving role of higher education. He noted that universities and colleges are now responsible for developing “responsible, ethical, and globally competent individuals who will lead Bharat towards inclusive and sustainable growth,” going beyond merely producing employable graduates. The session’s proceedings included an overview of the program by Dr. Hiranmoy Roy, the Course Coordinator. The coordination of the session was handled by Dr. Kavita Bhatt, the Program Executive, while Dr. Amar Jeet Singh, an Assistant Director, introduced the guests. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Somesh Thapliyal, also an Assistant Director of the Centre.
सीएम धामी ने कहा कि जबरन धर्मान्तरण व डेमोग्राफ़िक चेंज पर हमारी सरकार के प्रयासों के साथ जन सहयोग एवं कानूनी रूप से शिकायत हेतु जन जागरूकता भी आवश्यक है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारी सरकार ने सख्त दंगा विरोधी कानून लागू करने के साथ, भूमि अतिक्रमण के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्यवाही व यूसीसी जैसा साहसिक कदम उठाये लेकिन सरकार के इन साहसिक प्रयासों के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन हेतु व्यापक जनसहयोग की अपेक्षा है।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गढ़ी कैंट, देहरादून में आयोजित “ विकसित भारत @2047 सामूहिक संवाद- पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ“ कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य के सम्रग विकास के लिए उपस्थित भूतपूर्व सैनिकों से बातचीत की एवं उनके सुझाव लिये।
राष्ट्र-प्रहरी के साथ पर्यावरण प्रहरी भी बने भूतपूर्व सैनिक- मुख्यमंत्री’
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वन विभाग को हर डिवीज़न मे 1000 पेड़ लगाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कुछ समय पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने देश में ‘’एक पेड़ अपनी मां के नाम’’ अभियान की शुरुआत की है। आज के इस अवसर पर मैं, आप सभी से इस अभियान में भागेदारी निभाने का आह्वान करता हूं क्योंकि आप सभी राष्ट्र-प्रहरी होने के साथ – साथ हमारे पर्यावरण के भी रक्षक हैं। आप जहां भी पेड़ लगाएंगे उसके फलने फूलने की गारंटी भी सदा रहेगी, क्योंकि आप एक सैनिक होने के नाते हमेशा उसका ख्याल भी रखेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में गत दो माह में आने वाले पर्यटकों की संख्या 38 लाख से अधिक हो गई हैं। प्रधानमंत्री जी के प्रयासों व सहयोग से राज्य में शीतकालीन यात्रा एवं आदि कैलाश यात्रा को नई गति मिली है। राज्य में बेरोजगारी दर 4.2 से कम हो गई है जो राष्ट्रीय औसत से कम है। मानसरोवर यात्रा का समय 7 दिन कम हो चुका है।
सैनिको एवं उनके परिजनों के हित हमारी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता- मुख्यमंत्री
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित समस्त पूर्व सैनिकों का स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन करते हुए कहा कि सैनिको ने वीरता, शौर्य और समर्पण के साथ देश की रक्षा करते हुए अपने जीवन का महत्वपूर्ण कालखंड बिताया है। सैनिको ने कश्मीर से लेकर कन्याकुमारी तक और कच्छ से लेकर अरुणाचल प्रदेश तक हर मोर्चे पर तिरंगे के गौरव और मान को बढ़ाने का कार्य किया है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारा प्रदेश देवभूमि के साथ साथ वीरभूमि भी है, क्योंकि हमारे प्रदेश का लगभग हर परिवार सेना से जुड़ा हुआ है। इतिहास इस बात का साक्षी है कि हमारे वीर सपूतों ने मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने में कभी कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि मैं, स्वयं भी एक फौजी का बेटा हूं ,मैंने पूर्व सैनिकों एवं उनके परिवार की समस्याओं और चुनौतियों को नजदीक से देखा और समझा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उनके हृदय में हमेशा शहीदों और उनके परिवारों के प्रति गहरी संवेदनशीलता और समर्पण का भाव रहता है। इसलिए हमने ये प्रयास किया है कि यही भाव हमारी सरकार के काम में भी दिखे।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री श्री गणेश जोशी, ले ज (से नि) ए के सिंह, मे ज (से नि) के एस राणा, क. बीरेंद्र सिंह राणा, ब्रि. नितेश बिष्ट व बड़ी संख्या में भूतपूर्व सैनिक मौजूद थे।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को ऋषिकुल मैदान हरिद्वार में आयोजित विकास संकल्प पर्व में प्रतिभाग कर 550 करोड़ की 107 विभिन्न योजनाओं का लोकार्पण एवं शिलान्यास किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि लालढांग में सिंचाई सुविधा हेतु झील का निर्माण, लालढांग पीएचसी का उच्चीकरण कर सीएचसी बनाए जाने, भगवानपुर से इकबालपुर तक सड़क का चौड़ीकरण, भगवानपुर से सिकरौदा तक सड़क निर्माण, निरंजनपुर में डिग्री कालेज का निर्माण किए जाने, मुबारकपुर-अलीपुर में हाईस्कूल का उच्चीकरण किए जाने, मोहम्मदपुर जटगांव में रजवाहे के दोनों ओर पटरी पर सीसी सड़क का निर्माण किए जाने, विधान सभा झबरेड़ा के अन्तर्गत रुड़की नगर निगम वार्ड न0 22 व 23 में पानी निकासी व सड़क निर्माण किए जाने, खानपुर में ढाडेकी के सौलानी नदी पर पुल निर्माण किए जाने, गिद्धावाली में गंगा नदी घाट पर पुल निर्माण, नागड पलोनी से रांगढ वाला होते हुए भगवानपुर के पास तक मोटर रोड का निर्माण, मेवड नागड के शमशान घाट में बाउण्डरी वाल निर्माण किए जाने के साथ, मोहम्मदपुर पाण्डा के अन्तर्गत बाउण्डरी वाल निर्माण किए जाने की घोषणा की।
मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा एनआरएलएम के अन्तर्गत लक्ष्मी स्वयं सहायता समूह को 2 लाख रूपये, उद्यान विभाग द्वारा दरम्यान सिंह को 50 हजार रूपये, ग्रामोत्थान परियोजनान्तर्गत उजाला सीएलएफ को 21 लाख रूपये, आस्था सीएलएफ को 6 लाख रूपये, मत्स्य विभाग द्वारा अजीत कौर को 4 लाख 20 हजार रूपये, कृषि विभाग द्वारा तरुण सिंह अध्यक्ष वर्क कृषि उत्पादन एवं विपणन स्वयं सहायता समूह को 10 लाख, पशुपालन विभाग द्वारा मीनाक्षी देवी को 30 लाख रूपये, बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा चंचल तोमर को 51 हजार रूपये, सहकारिता विभाग द्वारा आकाश कश्यप को 1 लाख 60 हजार रूपये प्रदान करने के साथ ही सुश्री मीना को पीएम आवास योजनान्तर्गत आवास की चाबी सौंपी गई।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि क्षेत्र के विकास हेतु की गई ये सभी घोषणाएं, लोकार्पण, शिलान्यास की परियोजनाएँ न केवल हरिद्वार जनपद में आधारभूत सुविधाओं को सशक्त बनाने में सहायक सिद्ध होंगी, बल्कि नागरिकों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के साथ ही क्षेत्र के विकास को भी नई गति प्रदान करेंगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज का दिन विशेष है क्योंकि आज ही के दिन 04 जुलाई 2021 को उन्हें देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड की सेवा करने का मौका दिया गया था। उन्होंने कहा कि वे सबसे पहले मां गंगा का आशीर्वाद लेकर जनमानस के बीच आए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वे आज प्रदेश के समग्र विकास और जन आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने के अपने “विकल्प रहित संकल्प” को पूर्ण करने की इस यात्रा के सफल चार वर्ष पूर्ण कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने सफल चार वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की समस्त देवतुल्य जनता कस हृदयतल से आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि जनता द्वारा जताये गए भरोसे के बल पर ही वे आज उत्तराखंड के मुख्य सेवक के रूप में प्रदेश की सेवा कर पा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता का प्रेम ही है जो उन्हें प्रत्येक दिन प्रदेश के विकास और समाज की प्रगति हेतु समर्पित भाव से कार्य करने की ऊर्जा प्रदान करता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी से प्रेरणा लेकर गांवों से लेकर शहरों तक, किसानों से लेकर युवाओं तक, मातृशक्ति से लेकर श्रमशक्ति तक, व्यापारियों से लेकर कमचारियों तक प्रत्येक क्षेत्र और वर्ग के कल्याण के लिए कई नई योजनाएं बनाईं हैं और उन्हें धरातल पर भी उतारा है। होम स्टे योजना, लखपति दीदी योजना और सौर स्वरोजगार योजना जैसी अनेकों योजनाएं लागू कर स्वरोजगार को भी बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है, जिसका परिणाम है कि नीति आयोग द्वारा जारी सतत् विकास के लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने के इंडेक्स में हमारे उत्तराखंड को देश में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश की बेरोजगारी दर में रिकॉर्ड 4.4 प्रतिशत की कमी लाकर राष्ट्रीय औसत को भी पीछे छोड़ने का काम किया है।उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने राज्य में सरकारी नौकरियों में महिलाओं को 30 प्रतिशत आरक्षण देने के साथ ही ‘मुख्यमंत्री नारी सशक्तिकरण योजना‘, मुख्यमंत्री महालक्ष्मी योजना, मुख्यमंत्री वात्सल्य योजना, मुख्यमंत्री आँचल अमृत योजना और पोषण अभियान जैसी योजनाएं प्रारंभ की हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि हरिद्वार जनपद में भी अनेकों विकास परियोजनाओं पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। धर्मनगरी हरिद्वार को भी काशी विश्वनाथ एवं उज्जैन महाकाल कॉरिडोर की भांति भव्य और दिव्य रूप देने के लिए हरिद्वार-ऋषिकेश कॉरिडोर का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। हरिद्वार में हेली सेवाओं के लिए हेलीपोर्ट का निर्माण करने के साथ ही नगर को जाम की समस्या से मुक्ति दिलाने हेतु पॉड टैक्सी के संचालन की कार्ययोजना भी तैयार की जा रही है। हरकी पैड़ी से मां चंडी देवी और मां मनसा देवी तक रोपवे के निर्माण को हरी झंडी देना हो या लालढ़ांग की बरसाती नदी में पुल के निर्माण के साथ ही झूला पुल बनाने की दिशा में कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम देवनगरी हरिद्वार को विश्वस्तरीय नगरी बनाने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि देवनगरी हरिद्वार के लिए कावड़ यात्रा और कुंभ का आयोजन अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण आयोजन है। कांवड़ यात्रा और वर्ष 2027 में होने वाला कुंभ का आयोजन भव्य,दिव्य,सुरक्षित और ऐतिहासिक हो। इसके लिए हम सभी जरूरी इंतजाम करने के लिए संकल्पित हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य के समग्र विकास के साथ-साथ अपने सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों और डेमोग्राफी को संरक्षित रखने हेतु भी हम पूर्ण रूप से संकल्पबद्ध है। हमने प्रदेश में एक ओर जहां धर्मांतरण विरोधी और सख्त दंगारोधी कानूनों को लागू किया है वहीं अतिक्रमणकारियों के खिलाफ भी कड़ी कार्रवाई की है। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां एक ओर राज्य में समान नागरिक संहिता कानून लागू कर सभी नागरिकों के लिए एक समान कानून की स्थापना की है। वहीं, युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वालों पर अंकुश लगाने हेतु प्रदेश में सख्त नकल विरोधी कानून भी लागू किया है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप आज राज्य के 23 हजार से अधिक युवाओं को बिना किसी नकल के सरकारी नौकरी प्राप्त करने में सफलता प्राप्त हुई है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि राज्य से भ्रष्टाचार को समाप्त करने के लिए ‘’ज़ीरो टॉलरेंस’’ की नीति के साथ संकल्पित होकर कार्य कर रहे हैं। पिछले साढ़े तीन वर्षों में भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त 200 से अधिक लोगों को जेल की सलाखों के पीछे पहुँचाने का काम भी किया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने मां गंगा के तट से स्पष्ट सन्देश दिया कि भ्रष्टाचारी जेल जाने के लिए तैयार रहें।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि देश के साथ-साथ उत्तराखंड भी स्पष्ट नीति एवं विजन के साथ आगे बढ़ रहा है, जहां ‘विकास’ प्राथमिकता है, ‘ईमानदारी’ पहचान है, और ‘सेवा’ संकल्प है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार देवभूमि उत्तराखंड को देश का श्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाने के अपने ’‘विकल्प रहित संकल्प’’ के साथ निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि सभी के सहयोग से उत्तराखण्ड़ को सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाने का हमारा संकल्प अवश्य सिद्ध होगा।
इस अवसर पर राज्यसभा सांसद एवं बीजेपी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेन्द्र भट्ट, सांसद कल्पना सैनी, डॉ.नरेश बंसल, विधायक मदन कौशिक, आदेश चौहान, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री डॉ.रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक द्वारा भी जनता को सम्बोधित करते हुए अपने-अपने विचार व्यक्त किये गये।
इस अवसर पर पशुपालन, रेशम, महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास, डेदृएनयूएलएम, उद्यान एवं खाद्य प्रसंस्करण विभाग, कृषि, उद्योग, चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण आदि विभागों द्वारा स्टॉल लगाकर अपने-अपने विभाग से सम्बन्धित योजनाओं की जानकारी दी गई।

शनिवार को रिंग रोड स्थित सूचना भवन में उत्तराखण्ड सूचना कर्मचारी संघ की नई कार्यकारिणी का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह आयोजित हुआ। कार्यक्रम में महानिदेशक सूचना श्री बंशीधर तिवारी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। श्री तिवारी द्वारा नवनिर्वाचित संघ के पदाधिकारियों का शपथ दिलाई गई।
कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करते हुए सूचना महानिदेशक श्री तिवारी ने कहा कि कार्मिक हितों का शीघ्र समाधान किया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि सूचना विभाग का कार्य सरकार की नीतियों व योजनाओं का जनहित में व्यापक स्तर पर प्रचार-प्रसार करना है। सभी कार्मिक अपने दायित्वों का पूरी निष्ठा और ईमानदारी से निर्वहन करे। संघ द्वारा रखी गई मांगों का शीघ्र समाधान किया जायेगा। कार्मिकों के लिए विशेष रूप से स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किये जायेंगे।
इस अवसर पर अपर निदेशक श्री आशिष कुमार त्रिपाठी ने संघ की नवनिर्वाचित कार्यकारिणी को बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने कहा कि विगत समय में भी संघ द्वारा रखी गई मांगों का प्राथमिकता पर समाधान किया गया है।
संघ के नव निर्वाचित अध्यक्ष श्री कैलाश रावत ने कहा कि संघ का प्रयास होगा कि कार्मिकों के हितों को शीघ्र समाधान कराया जा सके। इसके लिए अधिकारियों से निरंतर संवाद किया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि आगामी समय में संघ का जनपद स्तर तक विस्तार किया जायेगा। संघ के महामंत्री श्री अंकित कुमार ने कहा कि संघ का उद्देश्य रहेगा कि कार्मिकों के हितां का शीघ्र समाधान हो।

माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के निर्देशों के क्रम में राज्य के मैदानी क्षेत्रों में बाढ़ का प्रभावी तरीके से सामना करने तथा जल भराव की स्थितियों से कारगर तरीके से निपटने के लिए 30 जून को प्रस्तावित मॉक ड्रिल की तैयारियों को शनिवार को अंतिम रूप दिया। मॉक ड्रिल को लेकर जनपदों की तैयारियों की समीक्षा करने के लिए शनिवार को उत्तराखंड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण स्थित राज्य आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र में टेबल टॉप एक्सरसाइज आयोजित की गई। इस दौरान जनपदों में जिन परिदृश्यों पर मॉक ड्रिल की जानी है, उन पर विस्तारपूर्वक चर्चा हुई तथा मॉक ड्रिल के सफल संचालन हेतु आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए गए।
इस अवसर पर सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास श्री विनोद कुमार सुमन ने कहा कि इस वर्ष मौसम विभाग द्वारा सामान्य से अधिक बारिश का पूर्वानुमान व्यक्त किया गया है। अत्यधिक बारिश होने के कारण राज्य के मैदानी क्षेत्रों में बाढ़ तथा जलभराव जैसी समस्याओं से प्रभावी तरीके से निपटने, विभिन्न रेखीय विभागों के बीच समन्वय को बेहतर बनाने, उपकरणों तथा संसाधनों का आपदा के समय बेहतर से बेहतर उपयोग करने तथा वास्तविक आपदा के समय राहत और बचाव कार्यों को प्रभावी तरीके से संचालित करने के लिए इस मॉक ड्रिल का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी तरह की आपदा का सामना करने के लिए सबसे जरूरी है, आपदा पूर्व तैयारी। जितनी अच्छी तैयारी होगी, उतने ही बेहतर ढंग से आपदाओं का सामना किया जा सकेगा। मॉक ड्रिल का उद्देश्य विभिन्न गैप्स का पता लगाना तथा उनका समाधान करना, आपदा के समय त्वरित निर्णय लेने की क्षमताओं में वृद्धि करना, बाढ़ से निपटने के लिए विभिन्न विभागों की तैयारियों की समीक्षा करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा के समय कोई भी विभाग अकेले कार्य नहीं कर सकता। सभी को एक-दूसरे के सहयोग की जरूरत होती है, तभी आपदाओं से होने वाले नुकसान को कम किया जा सकता है।
यूएसडीएमए के अपर मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी-क्रियान्वयन डीआईजी श्री राजकुमार नेगी ने मॉक ड्रिल के लिए क्या-क्या तैयारियां करनी हैं, इसके बारे में विस्तार से जनपदों को बताया। इस अवसर पर अपर मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी प्रशासन श्री आनंद स्वरूप, अपर सचिव श्री विनीत कुमार, संयुक्त सचिव एनएस डुंगरियाल, ड्यूटी ऑफिसर श्री विजय कुमार, अनु सचिव ज्योतिर्मय त्रिपाठी, संयुक्त मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी मो0 ओबैदुल्लाह अंसारी, एसडीआरएफ के डिप्टी कमांडेंट श्री शुभांक रतूड़ी, संयुक्त सचिव ज्योतिर्मय त्रिपाठी, एनडीआरएफ के असिस्टेंट कमांडेंट राजू एस धपोला, अनु सचिव मिनी जोशी, डॉ. बिमलेश जोशी आदि मौजूद रहे।
आईआरएस के लिए प्रदेशभर में लगेंगे प्रशिक्षण शिविर सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास श्री विनोद कुमार सुमन ने बताया कि उत्तराखण्ड में 09 जून को आईआरएस यानी घटना प्रतिक्रिया प्रणाली की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी गई है। बाढ़ प्रबंधन को लेकर आयोजित की जा रही यह मॉक ड्रिल आईआरएस प्रणाली के तहत होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि आईआरएस में सभी विभागों और अधिकारियों की भूमिका तथा दायित्वों का स्पष्ट निर्धारण किया गया है, ताकि किसी भी अधिकारी को आपदा के दौरान अपने दायित्वों तथा कर्तव्यों को लेकर भ्रम की स्थिति न रहे। उन्होंने बताया कि उत्तराखण्ड में राज्य स्तरीय आईआरएस प्रणाली के साथ ही जनपद व तहसील स्तर पर आईआरएस को अधिसूचित किया गया है। अधिकारियों को आईआरएस के बारे में बताने के लिए राज्य, जनपद व तहसील स्तर पर प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
टाक्स फोर्स का किया जाएगा गठन सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास श्री विनोद कुमार सुमन ने कहा कि मानसून अवधि में सभी जनपदों को तहसील स्तर पर टाक्स फोर्स गठित करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बाढ़ और जलभराव की स्थिति में प्रभावित लोगों को जल्द से जल्द मदद मिल सके, इसके लिए आवश्यक है कि अलग-अलग कार्यों को करने के लिए अलग-अलग टीमें गठित हों। उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा के उपरांत लोगों को त्वरित गति से अहेतुक सहायता वितरित करने, क्षति का आकलन करने, पुनर्निर्माण और पुनर्प्राप्ति के कार्यों को सुगमता से संचालित करने के लिए टास्क फोर्स का गठन करने को कहा गया है।
परिदृश्यों पर विस्तार से हुई चर्चा टेबल टॉप एक्सरसाइज के दौरान बाढ़ व जलभराव से संबंधित विभिन्न परिदृश्यों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। हरिद्वार में कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान भगदड़ और नदी में डूबने, कलसिया में तटबंध टूटने, बाणगंगा में अतिवृष्टि से जलभराव, सोलानी नदी के जलस्तर में वृद्धि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में जलभराव के परिदृश्यों पर मॉक अभ्यास होगा। जनपद ऊधमसिंह नगर में बैगूल नदी से स्कूल में जलभराव तथा बच्चों का रेस्क्यू, तथा मानव वन्यजीव संघर्ष की घटनाओं से प्रभावी तरीके से निपटने का अभ्यास किया जाएगा। इसी तरह नैनीताल, देहरादून तथा चंपावत के मैदानी क्षेत्रों में बाढ़ के विभिन्न परिदृश्यों को लेकर मॉक ड्रिल की जाएगी।
एलर्ट को अंतिम छोर में बैठे व्यक्ति तक पहुंचाया जाएगा सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास श्री विनोद कुमार सुमन ने बताया कि उत्तराखण्ड में रिस्पांस टाइम में लगातार सुधार हो रहा है। वर्तमान में रिस्पांस टाइम 12 मिनट है। उन्होंने बताया कि आपदाओं से बचाव के लिए पहला कदम है, आपदा की सूचना को समय पर लोगों तक पहुंचाना तथा लोगों द्वारा एलर्ट को देखते हुए कदम उठाना। यूएसडीएमए अंतिम छोर में बैठे व्यक्ति तक एलर्ट पहुंचाने के लिए संकल्पबद्ध है और इस दिशा में तेजी से प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। इसके लिए संचार के विभिन्न माध्यमों का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है।
तैयारियों को परखा, सुझाव भी दिए गए टेबल टॉप एक्सरसाइज के दौरान विभिन्न रेखीय विभागों की तैयारियों को परखा गया। राज्य आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र से पूछा गया कि अतिवृष्टि, बाढ़, जलभराव, मानव वन्य जीव संघर्ष की सूचना प्राप्त होने पर क्या किया गया। किस तरह राहत और बचाव कार्य संचालित किए गए। किन-किन उपकरणों का उपयोग किया गया। गोताखोर, जल पुलिस, जेसीबी, बोट, राफ्ट आदि के परिचालन पर भी विमर्श हुआ। राहत शिविरों में रेस्क्यू किए गए लोगों के लिए क्या-क्या व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित की गई हैं, इन सभी पहलुओं पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। यूएसडीएमए स्थित राज्य आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र के साथ ही जिला आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र में विभिन्न रेखीय विभागों के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। जून में औसत से कम बारिश, जूल जुलाई में बरसेंगे मेघ टेबल टॉप एक्सरसाइज के दौरान मौसम विज्ञान विभाग देहरादून के निदेशक डॉ. बिक्रम सिंह ने बताया कि जून में उत्तराखण्ड में औसत से कम बारिश हुई है, लेकिन जुलाई और अगस्त में अच्छी बारिश होने की उम्मीद है। इस दौरान उन्होंने मौसम विभाग द्वारा जारी किए जाने वाले विभिन्न एलर्ट्स की भी जानकारी दी। फूड पैकेट एयर ड्राप करने का किया जाएगा अभ्यास मॉक ड्रिल के दौरान बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में फंसे लोगों तक फूड पैकेट एयर ड्राप करने का भी अभ्यास किया जाएगा। यह सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा कि फूड पैकेट सही सलामत लोगों तक पहुंचें। साथ ही फूड पैकेट एयर ड्रॉप करने वाले की सुरक्षा भी खतरे में न पड़े।
