To generate public awareness and support for breastfeeding, National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) Women’s Forum organised a programme during ongoing Breastfeeding promotion month with Dabur India. Women doctors of NIMA Forum also participated in a baby care quiz competition and won prizes.

One of the organizers of the event, Dr Geeta Joshi said that Breastfeeding saves the lives of infants and reduces their disease burden. Breastfeeding also reduces the disease burden for mothers.

The special icon of the program Dr Neena Goyal appealed to all women doctors to unite day and night in the promotion of Ayurveda. On this occasion, along with the Teej celebration, all the doctors of the forum also celebrated their first anniversary.
